Em Dial is a queer, Black, Taiwanese, Japanese, and white writer born and raised in the Bay Area of California, currently living in Toronto. They are an MFA candidate at the University of Guelph and their debut poetry collection, In the Key of Decay, is out this month with Palimpsest Press.
