j.d. Hogg Undertaker has been a top level superstar for over 25 years. Has the best streak in Wrestlemania history and the best gimmick of all time. Moreover he's been involved in some of the greatest matches of all time such as the one against Shawn Michaels and the KOTR one with Mankind. Andre is a legend but he had very little wrestling ability and all of his fame was based simply on his size and appearance.

MMAfan Well I agree with ninety nine percent of your post. But remember Andre the giant wrestled in front of more then 93,00 fans at WM-3. And he was the reason they were there. Andre was approx 2" taller then Taker. but he was 300 pounds heavier! All these reasons are why I say Andre the giant was the greatest big man ever. I grew up watching Andre, so maybe I'm biased. I enjoyed watching Taker as a bad guy with Paul Bearer. Andre was a true Giant!

At the end of the day, Andre is a “wcw guy” through and through, I’m not surprised Vince never mentions him, much like Benoit. I guess you can say this is the equivalent of the Benoit murder/suicide for Vince. Andre will never be mentioned on WWE TV again, as long as Vince McMahon is alive. Moreover, he was recently stripped of his Hall of Fame status after this video leaked. Vince then angrily yelled at his family over the phone for days - presumably to curse them so that they never live a prosperous life. Andres ex wife told a AEW official that if Andre was still alive, he would have killed Vince McMahon at this point due to Vince and Andres supposedly falling out before his controversial WCW appearance which led to Vince supposedly putting a hit on Andres toddler. Vince SR once said “you can’t trust Andre, the moment you think he’s a WWE guy, he’ll switch sides, and end up in TNA or AEW. I hope you see this, son, because he will leave and at the end of the day, he’ll be a WCW guy….4 life.”

I read in WWE's book about Andre about this. Vince was very hurt by Andre's cameo. But in Andre's defense, he didn't do it out of maliciousness. He went to visit and hang out with his fellow wrestlers. More than likely Tony Schiavone approached him before they went on camera for a quick word and Andre probably agreed. Much more damning to Vince was Bruno's endorsement of WCW's product AND his dismissal of WWF/E ( the latter made the former look insincere, IMHO).

Very cool to see Bruno and Andre in WCW. I know people think of Andre as a WWF guy, especially since WWF did a good job erasing it's pre-1984 history. But Andre technically really wasn't a WWF guy. It was just his home base, where he was allowed to go out and tour the country and make stops in just about all the major territories, even after the 1984 national expansion. Andre certainly had a Georgia history. Great to see Bruno. He also was a special ref at a rare WCW show in NYC around '93.
