Chicken + Air Fryer = AMAZINGLY Easy food prep. I mean, all you have to do it dry-rub any chicken (for this episode, we choose Frozen Leg Quarters as our chicken of choice), toss it in the air-fryer and sit back and shake that basket. Don’t be afraid of frozen chicken, it just takes a little more time and prep. I like air-fryer chicken better than oven-baked for most applications.
TIME TO PREPARE
2 minutes to warm up air-fryer
30+/- minutes in air-fryer
5 minutes to cool
INGREDIENTS FOR LEG QUARTERS
1 pack of chicken leg quarters
Dry-rub for chicken (mine already had some from Jack Stack BBQ, great restaurant)
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE
Tabasco
Sweet Baby Rays BBQ
Dijon Mustard
Teriyaki Sauce
etc.
STUFF YOU’LL NEED
Air-Fryer
Tongs
Sharp Knife
HOW TO
1. Coat chicken in your dry-rub
2. Pre-heat air-fryer
3. Toss chicken in air-fryer
4. Every 5 minutes, shake the air-fryer basket
5. After 10 minutes, if your chicken is/was frozen, they should come apart now
6. After 15 minutes, take chicken out and cut leg from thigh. Put pieces back in air-fryer
7. Keep cooking and checking every 5 minutes
8. Check that chicken is done (not bloody in the middle)
9. Enjoy
