he was tired but still answered everything so well, such an underappreciated actor.

Andrew strikes me as an actor's actor; he always talks up his fellow performers and loves the projects he chooses.

Still today, he never voices criticisms of any colleagues, keeping such thoughts to himself. Andrew always comes across as a sincere, humble, kind-hearted, respectful person who has never lost those essential traits - despite working in an industry that is teeming with sharks. Live Very Long & Continue to Prosper, Andrew! You deserve much joy ❤️ I admire your personal character very much.

Silence is a Japanese novel which is a must-read at school here in Japan. The oppression of Christians back then is one of the biggest stigmas we've had in our history, which should never happen again. It was very refreshing to see the movie being made almost religiously based on the novel without any unwanted creative twists and turns by the filmmakers. Kudos to Martin Scorsese and all the actors and crew involved!

Silence will get into the Best Picture race (although it's done nothing at all in the precursors). It will get into the race the same way True Grit got in. Unexpected but understood when you remember who nominates these films.

@@ashtonb7931 I love Andrew to bits, and this is painful for me to watch because he seems so exhausted and energetically depleted, but he's still giving generously in terms of his thoughts and feelings. As he does. Did I mention that I love him to bits? 😭
