I've watched that video countless times back when it came out and it was right at the same time I was coming back to skateboarding after 4 years of really bad depression and almost complete isolation. Andy's point of view towards the world and the lifestyle that he was living really did influence my mind and opened up a lot of new opportunities and emotional perspectives, his energy really gets into people, he really did influence (very positively) my view on skating aswell, you guys really did something for me, and I still carry it with me, thank you both, re-watching this video with you commenting it, was very intense.

Andy Anderson is the Hendrix of skateboarding. Generational talent, on trajectory to be the biggest thing for the sport since Tony Hawk. I’m not even a skater, you don’t need to be to become obsessed with his stuff. I think it’s the focus on balance based tricks are relatable for any athlete, instead of some crazy huge trick Nyjah or Yuto are doing that I don’t really understand. Keep the attitude and spirit rocking dude, hope you do another Olympic run. 🤘

The types of videos thst i want to see from Andy are what he enjoys doing. If he enjoys learning switch tres and thinks that they will add to his overall enjoyment of the sport then yes. But what I enjoy watching from Andy is a nice flowy, fun, skate session.

I am agoing to have shoulder surgery soon, i am going to fill the locals during that time and sharebtheir stories. That is the best thing we can do for other skaters. I always have to film with tripod and ao much motion is missing from my videos. Stay rad Sir.

I wanna see some more “old Andy” for sure! To me, his skating is like great improv music. I can get popular music in a lot of places (switch tre’s, heelflips, whatever). But I can’t see really unique, sometimes bizarre skating often at all! I love his “a Short Skate Film” that was shot like an art piece for reference… just a ton of fun and interesting tricks.

To Andy, Still work on your switch game for sure. Its really good, but you could be more even with your regular game definitely. But at the same time, i personally want some more circus tricks. The stuff you have brought out more randomly that you seem to be consistent at, or stuff that people have never even thought of, have definitely been highlights for me. Like the natas spin ff impossible at the berrics was unreal.

A lot of what Andy is saying about life and attitude I learned from BMX. People who have a bad attitude, even if they are really good, don't make it far. I never understood why some skaters and BMXers have this elitist and I am the greatest attitude. It doesn't do anything for the sport or for yourself.
