Ugh the spelling mistakes 😅. I meant you LOSE autofocus when using anamorphots. I think there's a couple more spelling mistakes too.

@@Altcine yes it takes Npf batteries and has anamorphic desqueeze modes. It doesn't have a touch screen and I would say it is not that bright as yours. Looks like Andy cine improved a lot

Great in-depth coverage of this monitor. This very much reminds me of the feelworld F5 pro. one thing i wonder about is the power output going out to multiple units at the same time. I've run into issues where a single power source like a vmount powering a monitor & camera can actually fry the HDMI port. This happened to me using smallrig's vmount battery, but i think it was just a fluke accident. Spooked me, ever-since.

Hey Kevin, yeah I saw some threads on power loops affecting the hdmi in camera groups when powering from the same battery. The cable I used for the wireless follow focus does have a regulator on it and people should definitely use regulated cables rather than normal standard cables. But yes, you're right...surges can happen if you're not careful.

Really solid video! Have you find the focus peaking and false colors to be accurate? I'm looking for a budget monitor as well, but there's so many cheap option nowadays it gets hard to pick one 😂
@Altcine
Жыл бұрын
Thank you bro 🙌🏾 yeah I find the false colour good. The only thing I hate (which isn't limited to this monitor) is when you turn on focus peaking it picks up the on screen info from the camera too. It's accurate and I know all third party monitors do this so not much can be done. Also I really love portkeys monitors as they have so excellent affordable models but the npf plate on the back of andycine is a deal clincher for me.

@@Altcine I've seen that focus peaking issue in a couple of monitors as well, kinda annoying tbh. I had a look into some portkeys as well, but like you mentioned the npf might be a nice addition. Keep crushing these videos brother!
