In this video we talk about angular momentum. A mass moving in a straight line has linear momentum. When a mass rotates about some axis, there is momentum associated with rotational motion, called angular momentum.
The angular momentum of a particle about an axis of rotation is the product of its linear momentum and the perpendicular distance of line of action linear momentum from the axis of rotation. It is denoted by L.
