My take on Awarun. A bit of humour 😄😄😄😄 . 1. Awarun the first Sugar Mummy in Oyo Empire. 2. She gave her Sugar boy start-up capital. 3. Marketed the new business for her sugar boy. 4. She referred the business to the high and mighty in the society (The Kings' wives). "She gat connection". 5. Promised her sugar boy a bride. 6. Bought a choice property for her boy. This property is equivalent to property in Banana Island ooo (Don't ask me how i know 😆) I think there is so many to come in the series from Awarun. Remember she does not have tribal mark and she was sitting with the chiefs.

Anikulapo has clearly presented the untold story about the mysterious bird 'Akala' with the power to raise the dead. Lo and Behold curiosity will arise in the mind of the western researchers who are eager to tell our story in their own way. Kudos to Kunle Afolayan for bringing to our consciousness, the power in the land of Africa yet widely untapped.

I watched this movie on Netflix from Southern California, and I was really impressed. The story line was great! I felt like I was watching apart of Yoruba history (Although it was fictional). The interviews with the cast came across my KZitem feed, perhaps because I recently started watching Nollywood movies. This was my first-time watching a Kunle Afolayan movie and I will explore more of his movies.

Just to drop a nugget for those who believe they cannot make it in Nigeria. These guys are Nigerians based in this difficult nation and yet thriving. Mummy Sola once left the country for years and she totally disappeared off the radar. Since she came back, she has become an international sensation. I also doubt Kunle Afolayan will be who he is today if he's based in some far away western land, probably okay doing whatever he is doing but he won't be The Kunle Afolayan we know today. These guys have found their purpose and they are thriving in it. Let us all find ours, and it might just be here in this country call Nigeria. May we all find our purpose and fulfill it by Gods grace
