I've heard that watercolors fade and that acrylic paint makes the fabric crunchy. Have you/anyone here had this experience?

Personally haven't used watercolor like this but I have used acrylic on fabrics. Don't use straight acrylic as that does get crunchy and flaky, water it down some and that seems to hold up pretty well.

Sorry about not replying i didn't see your comment until now! I haven't had the watercolor fade but I also usually use it for pastel colors. For acrylic I agree with Victor, it can be used if watered down! Airbrushing is definitely the best way to go but using watercolors or acrylic paints is more budget friendly ^-^
