And now, people, you know why these Tiny Terrors are called _WILDCATS!_ We had the misfortune of leaving Tucson for my spouse's job transfer 😢 I love seeing this video - I hiked all over the place there - loved every minute of it. You're so good at caring for wildlife - too much building making them homeless. Thank you for doing what you do for all the animals you care for 💖 _SUBBED_

They can be affectionate like a regular cat, but they can still inflict serious injuries, particularly when they swipe at you with full power. They can knock you on your ass, they're really strong for their size.

He's an animal expert?Yet he handles the kits without gloves? and feeds the mom chicken?and informs us about the potential dangers for neighborhood children and pets? And last of all tells us mama will eventually leave with her babies? Why should she leave after being fed chicken?
@mjremy2605
Жыл бұрын
You are not the expert, he is. 1. Kits are still blind and not old enough to act feral and hiss. They are harmless, no gloves needed. 2. A bobcat usually catches rabbits and rodents. A chicken would be a delicacy for the Bobcat. 3. If a bobcat has babies in your yard, it will attack your cat, dog, child or husband. Not a good idea. You have to move it. It can severely maul or kill a dog or child or even an adult. If it can kill a 200 lb sheep, your dog is no match. So why should it not be moved? If you don't move it, and it attacks, it will be shot. 4. Once the bobcat has 'understood' the new territory, it will scout out a new den for its kittens and come back and take them by the neck, one at a time to the den. No more cage. The cage is necessary to acclimatize the mother to the sights and sounds of a new 'neighborhood' while she gets food and water and gets her bearings. Ideal. 5. She is fed chicken in the cage. The cage will be gone. There is no association of chicken with that place when it only happens for 2 days.

You can handle wild animals without gloves unless it's primates as they can pass on diseases from contact. Wild animals will not abandon their babies if they have human scent on them that's false and has been debunked. Animal activists will tell all kinds of lies to overly emotional people like you to gain sympathy and eventually money. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. You let your emotions get in the way of sanity and logical thinking.

I would have preferred you not film this and make the experience more calm and less traumatic for that poor mother. Your voice, the way you bang the cage around and then obviously that choke hold could not have been more rough and traumatic. I'm sure listening to your human voice and being tossed around in a cage made her more fearful and aggressive. There is a better way to do this. I hope you know better by now.

for an animal expert, he sure is insensitive to the animal's fear and seems to have no problem riling her up.

He also takes a really bad hit to the leg at 1:50. She sinks a full set of her front claws in deep, and he has to pull them out by pulling her away. He's favoring that leg the entire rest of the video and you can see the sweat beading up from the pain. I hope he got medical attention immediately after.

This is really upsetting to watch. You are stressing her out! Why don't you focus on getting her out instead of talking distractedly, while she is choking on that noose and watching her babies in a prison. Focus on your task at hand so you don't prolong this torture for her. She is fighting for her life here and that is not conducive to milk production. This was great information to know, and you did a great job of rescue, rehab, release. Very happy to know the Bobcat found a new good home. Feed her up well!!! She has kittens to feed. Thank you! And thank you for no music!!!
