I am not a handy person; I am a semi-geek. I even do not know what is the utility of this tool you have just made and packed. I teach philosophy and logic; and write on religion, politics, law, and philosophy. But, I watched this video till the end, like watching a great mystery and suspense film. Or like I just followed a supreme court case on a topic of my passion. Your attention to detail, your problem solving skills, your mastery of tools and knowledge in the field, all inspirational. I shared it with my Facebook friends and enemies :)

Heh, this certainly has the vibe of the teaching/didactic materials we had in physics classes. Makes me think that at one point someone took the same steps in making the classic air tunnel machine with the airfoils or the pantograph explaining jig, and many, many more wooden (sometimes painted green) things we had in our class.

+Matthias Wandel I don't know if you have finalized it, but I was hoping that you would be painting the demo in order to create higher contrast for a tradeshow setting. Especially showing the cross-section of the tenon. If it were painted a bright color, or black, etc and the demo pantograph arms were painted a contrasting color (dark or light) it would make for a super display. Good luck with the machine sales.
