Amazing!! This really communicates how time stood still in quarantine for a lot of us. It was like a break from the normal trapping routine of the world. It was calming, nice.

Incredible! How did you go from scene to scene (i.e., from the clock to the bed?). Thank you :).
@avocadopenguin3476

u can either place the first scene over the second scene with decreasing opacity, or animate scene by scene then fade it out in a separate video editor (the first option will give better quality)

@@avocadopenguin3476 how do you place the first scene over the second scene with decreasing opacity ??
@avocadopenguin3476

@@funtimewaffle3326 have two separate layers where the layer on top is the scene before, and the layer below is the scene you want to fade into. start with the layer on top at full opacity and the layer below at 0% opacity (invisible), then duplicate the frame. in each subsequent frame, lower the opacity of the layer above and increase the opacity of the layer below. this makes the first scene look like it is fading out and the second scene look like its fading in. the last frame in the transition would be one where the layer above is at 0% opacity and the layer below is full opacity. this would make the layer below the only visible layer and you would have successfully transitioned completely to the next scene! :)

what i described works for when you want to fade between still shots (neither scene is moving while you transition). if you want to transition between moving shots, just do the exact same thing, except you would just continue animating each scene as you do the fading (for example, scene 1 frame 1 is drawn on top of scene 2 frame 1 with 90% and 10% opacity respectively. scene 1 frame 2 is drawn on top of scene 2 frame 2 with 80% and 20% opacity respectively). it's basically just animating regularly but you do two scenes on the same frame at different opacities. of course, my percentages in the example above isn't very practical because a 10% jump in opacity might be too large and cause the animation to be jerky. play around with the numbers to get a smoothness you're satisfied with!
