He was the flip side of someone like John K. The sort of guy you think should never produce a kids show, and yet he creates comedic gold. It's as if he needed the boundaries to create good humor, and still it did push those boundaries. Where John K makes the adult party cartoon with no more boundaries, and not the least bit funny

John K. Had one real hit to his name the only good legacy you can debate on that he created and everything after that was a bust including his adult party cartoon which is awful never watching it. The creator of Ed, Edd & Eddy has my respect for creating a childhood favorite and being a decent guy.

@chrisbrasel8060 the more I watch the post john k episodes of Ren and Stimpy the more respect I have for Bill Camp and Bob Wray who knew how to balance the edginess without going overboard. Plus, one can say Billy West was integral to the series, even proving he could do Ren justice

@@bluesentaiproductionsBill, Bob and Billy were the saving graces for the show as John K. Couldn't deliver and without their help the show would've went down hill in quality if John K. Was in control of it it wouldn't be have half the success if they kept things on track.

@@bluesentaiproductions It's confirmed that John K was taught by Ralph Bakshi. Bakshi even created the New Adventures of Might Mouse, with John K helping him out. The problem is that John doesn't have Ralphs skill of creating mature themes.

Another Beloved classic everyone grew up on Green eggs & ham was created by Dr. Seuss because someone dared him to do it and became one of his most read famous works. The more you know.

Ed Edd and Eddy was a such a great show. I consider one my favorite cartoons from Canada. It’s crazy how this idea was started from a dare to see if the creator can take that risk to make a kids show. At the end, it worked really well. I also love the art style of the show and how he tries it’s best to keep the style in cel animation

Here's the funny thing, i've never thought that a simple idea of three friends who have the same name would be cartoon network's longest running original series!
