Twinkle Nora Rock Me!
This is a bad anime..
I mean what was there budget..
A dollar?
I promise you what you’re watching here is not a malfunction in frame rate or some kinda glitch..
This is the fluidity of the anime.
Now with no fore warning or care why..
We are told that a girl is coming basically to terrorize society..
And out the blue we get a girl dancing, shooting guns..
and then some person randomly Turning into a monster for a split second before disappearing.
Anyways nora is supposedly a psychic bounty hunter.
She obviously has more than petty money in mind when she disintegrates a 10000 check after taking down a dude.
After that she heads out to fry a bigger fish.
That’s as much story as youll care about in this barely half an hour ova..
what I wanna know is exactly why they made this…
The character designs are okay for the mid 80s but I can’t get passed how poor this anime was.
It could be one of those situations where the staff just used it as a pasttime to have fun with or something.. because..
oh my god.
Speaking of staff You’d be grossed our to know this is damn near a one man show.
Satomi Mikuriya, the creator of the Nora is credited as director, writer, storyboarder, and character designer.
That is crazy.
Whats interesting too, there’s moments where you can see a little potential.. like some of the rock and pop music made here is actually entertaining and there’s 30 second spurts here and there that catch your attention..
Like when ol girl starts playing the drums in the cave or wherever they were supposed to be.
I’d even go as far as to say some of you out there might possibly enjoy it for this reason.
So Is it the worst anime ever?
Nope..
But it’s still 29 minutes you can’t get back.
It feels almost in some ways like a really bad episode of gundam 0079 or original macross or mospeada, those late 70s early 80s mechas..
But then not quite cause even the worst episodes of those shows still aren’t as budgetly bad.
Everything happening here is just random and out of sync..
and it makes it tough to sit thru and quite frankly anxious to try and follow.
Anyways lemme stop stalling to make the video longer..
this sucks.
Aparrently theres a nora manga, and this is the second anime adaptation from it.
Both I believe dropped in 1985.
But who even cares
This should have never existed
Satomi Mikuriya's dream to make it in the anime industry was killed after this sht dropped so..
yikes.
Like the video..
