I’ve been very curious about this one. Think I’ll give it a go next month. Always enjoy your reviews. Thanks! 😊

I have this but have not started it yet. Fun fact: my sister lived in the building where this took place. It was years after, but the artist (alleged murderer) still lived there. She lived on the same floor and I'd occasionally see him in the hall when I went to visit her.

@@ariannefowler455 what! That’s mad! Did she have any opinions on the artist?

Thanks -- I've been meaning to get to this one. (I loved Olga Dies Dreaming.)

I don't know whether I'll pick this up or not, but I do love a book that sends me scurrying for more info.

I am reading it right now and enjoying it. This book makes me want to go to MoMA or the Met :)

Thank you for your thoughts on this. I have it sitting on my TBR shelf and have wanted to get to it, but Gonzalez's book was only "good" for me. Even with your negatives, I still think it will work better for me than Olga Dies Dreaming.

I hated Olga Dies Dreaming -- or, at least the parts I read before dnfing -- so I'm sketchy on this one. But I do love books about art and artists, especially unusual artists. Did you read Olga; do you know how they compare?
