Anita was an example of a strong business woman who took control of her own future! I had no idea she became fluent in English & Italian? To become so loved and appreciated in both countries! The end of her life she chose too be buried in her country. (Sweden). All that appreciated her beauty, talent, we're, all

@@Man_from_UNCLE You are right. In the 60s, and 70s, for some reason, there were a LOT of actors from the U.S. who went to shoot films in Italy. One can understand why the Italian producers and directors wanted them, for their big names but still boggles the mind the names you find there, already established actors like Broderick Crawford, Christopher Lee, Burt Lancaster, Sterling Hayden...! (Il Gatopardo) Jane Fonda, Orson Wells, Victor Mature, Richard Basehart, Anthony Quinn, Lex Barker (Tarzan), Peter Falk, Tony Curtis, Jodie Foster, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Gazzara, Donald Sutherland. Farley Granger, not to mention a few in the sword and sandal genre like Steve Reeves who i think stayed in Italy. And then after the Leone Spaghettis there was another invasion of big names in Italian cinema, like henry Fonda, Charles Bronson. But only a few stayed for good in Italy.

In From Russia With Love, there is a large movie poster of Anita painted on a wall. The henchman is in that building. Bond is waiting outside with a sniper rifle. Bond says something like "She has a beautiful mouth. Watch it." Then the henchman comes out of a door that is her mouth and Bond shoots him. I think the poster was from another movie from the same production company. Pretty funny product placement.

Being attractive is no guarantee that the person you are attracted to will also be attracted to you. Also, just because someone is very attractive, doesn't mean that the person they are romantically involved with will treat them well. This goes the same for male & female. It happens over & over to attractive, intelligent, kind, talented people. They get involved with someone who is verbally abusive, physically & sexually abusive.

What a gorgeous woman I’m kinda young to have known her there’s a special interest for with the beautiful women from the past mainly because unlike today’s women they had to rely solely on their natural beauty and in those days had to use those attributes to attain success. These days there are other ways to advance such as being openly gay or lesbian opens doors that weren’t even there in the fifties Also being a liberal Democrat will help gain acceptance in today’s Hollywood but in the end will still have to surrender her body to someone.
