Annemarie sharing with us that she was adopted, explains why she is so loud, over the top, argumentative, always telling us that she is a nurse, ( and in essence that she is important) etc. is very telling that she has a low self esteem. She feels that she needs to be heard to matter. Her anxiety comes from the fact that she was rejected by her parents, both father and mother. It is very sad and I hope she finds inner peace.

About a year after my Dad died our family was contacted by a young woman informing us that our father had fathered a daughter a few years before he met and married our Mother and she was the daughter of my Dad's illegitimate daughter. NOBODY, not even my Mom EVER KNEW. Finding out a family secret this deep impacted our lives profoundly and we all had wildly different reactions to this news, but my Mom??? she completely shut down and refused to acknowledge this reality at all. My heart breaks for Annemarie experiencing that level of abandonment. It makes me glad I was mature enough to accept that my Dad was a real man, a human being with faults and foibles, just like the rest of us and he was allowed to make mistakes. I chose to welcome a new Sister and focus on only the positive, but...watching my Mom attempt to navigate this was awful. As a woman I certainly could empathize with my Mom, but pretending it never happened only unnecessarily wounds the innocent; nobody ASKS to be born! I hope Annemarie is able to understand that a "no" today doesn't mean "never" and that she is valued because she exists, not in spite of it. I pray the bio family she has out there has a softening of their rough edges and comes to accept the blessings Annemarie could potentially bring to bear on the family. And my hope is for continued healing, for all parties moving forward. May they realize that the blood of some very strong women is shared between us, even though we may not be aware of it yet, and, it gets easier with time. ❤

Coming from someone who lives in Barcelona.... the RHOA ladies never went to Barcelona city. They faked it by filming in the little streets of Poble Espanyol. Poble Espanyol is an open air MUSEUM where they remade little streets to showcase Spanish architecture. Everytime they meet that guy Manolo, it is at the entrance of this open air museum and not Barcelona itself. They never went into Barcelona. Where they not allowed to film there? The content in Sitges is real (the scenes with water, ashes etc), the content in Barcelona is staged in a museum. Also Barcelona is an hour drive from Sitges

Annemarie has a right to the information her biological mother has about her medical history and possible siblings. Also, she should consider that it may not have been her bio mother that said they didn’t want her to ever make contact. It could have been the agency or another relative. Even if it was the bio mom, she could have changed her mind. Annemarie should make contact directly and privately. She shouldn’t have contacted her biomom’s sister. She should have respected her biomom’s privacy.

@donk8105 totally agree with all that. You just have to be sensitive to the biomom’s situation. I think the adoption agency probably added the part about not wanting to be contacted. Anyone that would have the baby rather than aborting her clearly cared and is a decent person. After 40 years, even if she was the one to say not to contact her, she may not feel the same way now. But maybe she is married and never told her husband and other children. You shouldn’t just contact a relative and blurt out the details. There is a better way to do it.

As a Spaniard, let me tell you that those chicks, dancing up there, looked like the stalest pieces of bread I've ever seen. 🤣🤣🤣 Flamenco is very different from other traditional styles of dance, in the sense that technic is not that important. For instance, flamenco dancers usually refers to "duende" (literally meaning "elf", but also "spirit" or so) to refer to the moment they embrace the dance and let themselves go. So it's no that much about precision, but about letting yourself be possessed by its trance.

Not adopted, but I think it's difficult for someone who has their family and didn't feel rejected to get into the mind of someone who feels rejected and feels like a piece of themselves is missing. Every child who is developing normally will eventually ask their parents where babies come from. Man created religion to explain where we come from as a species. It's only natural to want to know where you come from, and who your people are. I'm curious how you could be so clueless to this innate desire and compare your situation to someone who has never met their family before...

Again *why not talk about herself on the show versus the malarkey we're getting*

Dorit, you speak so much about your JEWISH heritage, but why don't you mention that you are North African or Moroccan to be exact? Why do you hide your curly African hair and always straighten it? Why do you try so hard to come off polished and entitled? Just asking for a friend 🤨

These women did not do anything to Erika! Her husband did! As he apologized to Erika? 🙄

Thanks for sharing Annemarie, you are good person even though people are bashing you, you are real Garcelle is too intense Dorit is as fake as her accent and sooo boring she is paired with Crystal that make sense… Love Erika wisdom ❤ Sutton and kyle are cool

The answer is a resounding, no. It was stipulated in the adoption papers.

She clearly stated that said she DOESN’T want Annemarie to contact her. Yet she still did anyways… what a fool.

Well I'm not sure if you are adopted but I'm sure she is just kidding that part of her life I don't know what thata lik but it must hurt and I don't even like her

She didn’t contact her, she contacted the potential aunt. The aunt had to have done the ancestry thing too and allowed her name to be on record for other potential family members to find her. I would have contacted her too, I know a lot of people who are adopted and even though they consider their adoptive family their “real” family they still want to know where they came from and the story of their background.

You completely lack any sort of empathy to feel comfortable even posting that online and you should seek therapy.

Ugh Annamarie Wiley, her name is as annoying as the way she speaks and high horses around, I’m really not trying to dislike her, I just can’t force myself to like her though, too much of a pick me in a BAD way.

If she is Kyle's good friend, then why is she sitting alone for the after show. Don't really care for her. The way she throws all her being in the medical field around in sure she crossed some hippa laws.. Snooze fest when she is on

I really wish we had been introduced to Annemarie without Sutton's oesophagus because shes actually a nice person. That story was really touching and completely changed my view. I hope she gets a second season, I think all wives need at least 2 seasons to see if they're worth keeping around

You guys are ABSOLUTELY vile about Annemarie and Erika. For 1 Sutton isn’t god and she’s not even that interesting. Annemarie made a mistake, get over it. And Erika isn’t a lawyer so TOM’s bs isn’t her fault. Never was. Jesus Christ drop it, it’s OLD. You guys have bullied her into apologizing for her husband, it’s absolutely ABSURD
