Nice looking knives, GunGeek. ... Made in Nova Scotia, Canada. It's always a good idea to support a local company. ... Looks like a quality knife from Canada, = Grohmann.

I've always found the "Real Deals" work the best in just about everything. ... The imitations are made 'cheaper' = so they never seem to match the quality of an original being copied. ... The 'seconds' from Grohmann look like a 'blemish' that shows up on any knife, after it has been used for several weeks. ... In fact, the Great GunGeek himself looks like he stores himself in a closet with all his >immaculate gear!

Very nice. The saber grind would make a better all-purpose knife. I like the flat grind but that tip is way too fine for anything but skinning and kitchen duties. But they're both beauties!

I always wondered if the flat grind would make a better slicer than regular grind - kinda makes sense. Pretty good price on the 2nd - I don't see much of a flaw (as usual with GK 2nds). Thanks for posting,

with the light use in the kitchen it does appear to slice better but i will compare them for awhile :)

the flaws are sometimes very hard to find, the top grade ones must be very nice :)
