what extended warranty do you have? (from who)... and what name brand tires are on the truck in this video?

The truck was I believe still covered under the factory warranty, but I did purchase the extended warranty from the dealership $3200.00 because of the Lifter failure I had at 5000 miles, so she is covererd until 112,600. The tires on the truck I had bought at Sams Club and they are BFGoodrich K02 Baja Champion 265-70-17.

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson thanks. I'm surprised you could still buy the warranty "after" you had the truck for 5K miles. When you buy a vehicle, they tell you, you can't buy it after you drive off the lot. Is it of your opinion a GM extended warranty is the best one to buy? There are other extended warranty companies out there. KZitem has videos of people who bought warranties that turned out to be useless, when they were needed. I'm still on the fence about buying one. I wonder if the price of a GM warranty is different at different dealers, for the same thing.

@@BR549_o7 I believe at the Chevy dealership there is a one-year period that it can be purchased. I'm not sure if it is worth it, this is my second time ever buying an extended warranty and on my first car I never used it. The main reason why I went back and bought it was because of the lifter issue that I had plus with all the electronics that are now on these newer vehicles I thought it would be in my best interest to buy it from the dealership. If you are to buy any extended plan, I would buy it from the dealer and not one of those outside companies that you see ads for. I heard quite a few negative stories about them mainly with CARSHIELD. I did file a Lemon Lawsuit against Chevy/GM and just got paid out about 4 months ago. I was happy with the settlement and was able to keep my truck. I had a friend that bought a 2019 Silverado right after me and he had a few of the same issues that I had with my truck, No Lifter Issues but he did have transmission problems he received $68,000 and was able to keep his truck. If you can afford the dealership warranty at the time of truck purchase, I would get it then I paid a little bit more because I bought it later. I'm covered to 112,000 miles and I only have 59,500 as of today so I have a ways to go till it ends. I hope this helps

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson he got 68K from a lemon lawsuit? Wow. Thats like a free truck. Does your extended warranty only go by mileage and not time? is there not like a 5 year limit on it no matter if the mileage is still under the limit?

@@BR549_o7 I think it was 10 years or 100,000 miles. But I get 112,000 miles on the warranty.
