A couple of suggestions (for all the good it does two years later) for a wargame like this: I think General temperament, or tactical predisposition would be an interesting thing to roll for. Generals are known to have personalities and proclivities, so maybe it would be a fun mix to roll on some table that decides how Generals are inclined. Like : 1- Defensive, 2-3 - Counter attacker, 4-5 - Aggressive, 6- Blitzer. Also, possibly rolling for modifiers for national advantages would be interesting. Maybe rolling on a table for superior infantry training, shipwrighting, arterial manufacturing, cavalry culture (I.E Cossacks) etc. Might bring some spice to nation creation.

I came for the gaming, but I stay for the seemingly endless supply of loveheart pencils. Very apt.

Glad to hear there is only 48 ap of albans. Hail Tenebra! Hopefully that means we can put a stop to their advance, if we can keep their supplies choked off the war might end much quicker than anyone anticipated.

The Tenebran strategy here is confusing. I don't know what their motivation is to deploy to the field when they know the enemy is cut off from supply. Normally, the advantage of sieging army is supply. The city they are trying to sack is cut off, and the sieging army is not. Why not retreat and starve their attackers? Perhaps it would be the imperative of the Tenebran navy to ensure there is no resupply by sea? But then again, how the battle to the north plays out beforehand has an impact on General Typhonis' consideration. If he doesn't take the initiative here, he could find himself surrounded and HIMSELF utterly cut off if he doesn't crush the Albans now. My head is swimming with possibilities.

Not too sure why - as last time - you keep saying the Tenebreans have to march out and attack.? They hold a solid defensive position anchored on the coast and farm, which will cost the alabans dear to assualt. They have more infantry and guns that also plays into a more static/counterpunch strategy. I know it is You Tube and it is more exciting if both sides attack, but if you play both sides in a way best for them...... The Albans may struggle because heavy cavalry is very hit and miss, more miss when it it attacking formed troop lines and in a slugfest they are likely to come off worse, given the more compact lines of their opponent, who boast more infantry and guns However, the Albans must attack and must win, a loss will be disastrous for their cause as this army has nowhere to go, The Tenebreans potentially could slowly retreat along the coast supported by their larger fleet, while the Albans suffer from no supply. Interesting scenario, that even with average generalship must favour the Tenebreans
