OLD SCHOOL DEVILED HAM SALAD/SPREAD
Deviled Ham Spread or Ham Salad is a great recipe to make when you have a leftover ham bone and you want to use up every last bit of ham that's left on the bone. It's very cheap and easy to make. Store it in your refrigerator and it tastes even better the next day. It's great on a sandwich or on crackers.
1 pound of or Ham.
3 Tablespoons of Drained Sweet Pickle Relish
1/2 cup of Mayonnaise.(more if desired)
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tsp dijon mustard
Instructions
Cut Ham into small squares.
Place ham and onions in food processor and pulse (short quick pluses)until crumbly. Not Mushy(about 3 to 5 pulses. Depending on size of processor).
Transfer to bowl
Add the cream cheese mayonnaise,mustard and sweet pickle relish.
Mix until combined well.
Use for a dip on crackers or on bread for a sandwich.
Keeps in sealed container in refrigerator up to 4-5 days. Do not freeze.
Different options.
Delicious on Hawaiian Rolls.
Can add either celery,onion or boiled egg,pepper or all of these if desired.
Delicious and easy.
