What’s the reason for all these new Hondas needing rear pad replacements around 30k. I had done 5 so far. 2020 accords.

Cause brake pads wear and 30k miles for brake pads is normal bud👍🏽

The TCS for these cars are extremely rear biased so the rear breaks are being used alot more than you think

Honda changed the material on the pads for a quite smoother breaking, Cons of that is that they wear off quicker

I hated that machine when u have to do the passenger side u have put the machine up side down. u dont use lube on the pins or on the brakes ?

If the rotor is warped shouldn't you replace it instead of resurfacing it?

Depends on how bad the runout is.

If the rotor is warped past a certain limit then yes you should just replace it. But if the wastage isn’t too bad you can resurface it

23k on those rear brakes I call I win I’ve done numerous Nissans rear brakes around 15k miles

Having to use a scan tool to put brakes in service mode what b.s. what happened to the consumer right to repair there own car..... Ill stick to my 97 accord and 00 civic
