Like you could ask them what was the longest word they pissed on the snow. And you are asking them what it's like to be the same gender like Donald Trump. "Why do you hate rom coms?" Let's pretend the question is "why does the majority of men dislike rom coms/ find them boring?". As a man who loves only certain rom coms, I have several points: - Rom coms, and in general romance, is targeted/marketed for women, so most of them feature elements that most men find unappealing and men are shamed for liking "femenine things" -Men don't generally fantasize about romance -The main thing that attracts men to romcom is comedy, and generally if a romcom starts with romance, then most probably men aren't gonna keep watching -A good chunk of romcoms presents idealised versions of men and normal female protagonists, which surely don't attract men who mostly are attracted to the opposite way -Actually a lot of men like romcoms, but most of the time, it's not their favourite genre, so most of the time they will talk about something else, and the guys who shout to the streets that they hate romcoms, it's probably because they found only the bad ones/hate the genre or wants to be feel better about his masculinity by saying that he hates femenines things Hell, there is a genre in manga, that it's called romance shounen, that literally means romance for young boys/men. It may not be the most famous genre but its well and alive

@@CeliaDeVeaux (This comment is referring to the U.S) Maybe you could've pointed out what your source is. I researched but google said it was 25%. The highest I could find was 33%. That's nowhere near "over half" and also stating for men, its 11.1% which is lower but not drastically lower. I do not understand why people blame your average man for this. currently there is nothing in the U.S a man can do that a woman can't. Most likely your response to that would be: "walk down the street at night without being scared". There is really anything anyone can do about that. Those people are stupid and stubborn and won't have their mind changed. Plus there is laws against stalking, so I don't really see your point. But let me name some things a woman can do that a man can't. 1.) Not have to pay child support 2.) Always believed in the courtroom. 3.) Able to punch back and be considered "Strong woman" 4.) Also able to disrespect men blatantly and be congratulated. (ex. Kill All Men movement) 5.) Don't have to make money, don't have to fight in our wars and can do nothing all day and mooch of their husband working to provide for the family and not be considered "lazy". Women are treated with more than respect and dignity, and the future seems to be special treatment for women. Hiring a white straight male in the near future will get you cancelled most likely. It's not about equal treatment, but special treatment not only for women, but everyone. so everyone can respect differences between us. shitting on men isn't cool. Edit: just fixed some typos and conveying problems.
