for those who have issues with warp (i did too, my error was “after effects couldnt render buffer 3000” something like that), what i do is i add motion tile to my clip (precomped) and i add an adjustment layer overtop it and add warp to that. it should work fine from there.

for alight motion editors switching to ae (much of it are the basics but nvm); - precomposing is basically 'grouping' if that makes sense. like in alight when u group two-three layers together it becomes one single layer but in this case, the quality doesn't degrade and makes the edit smoother. - the graphs are the exactly same here in ae as in alight motion but the difference is the midgraph. the midgraph in ae is similar to the 'pulling both the knobs to the extreme end' graph (I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN AAHH) - i mean now alight motion also has the 'null' layers but in ae ya'll can overlap keyframes to make the edit smoother by joining the null layer to the original layer. BUT ADJUSTMENT LAYER IS KINDA DIFFERENT, you can put colours, rgb and shit on the adjustment layer but not null cause null is for transform only. - it is better if you download s_blurmocurves as the motion blur setting in that is FABULOUS (i dont have the link to the plugin as my laptop got a restart or some shit and most of my files are gone) (ill update as i get more things along the way, byeee)

Precomposing is basically just taking all the layers selected and makes a new clip, forgetting about the effects applied, and the length and any of the parts of the layers selected that are cut. So if you were to pre-compose a clip with a glow, the glow would still show, but you wouldnt be able to see it in the effect controls or change it.
