It’s interesting to see the this part of history that’s usually not taught in schools. I was shocked when I found out just couple months ago. The very same people (the brits) that called the Zionist early movement as terrorist organisations, are now the very people that are calling the Palestinians terrorists.

12:20 I watched a documentary series where a journalist asked an American born Israeli settler ‘how do you feel about the fact you can walk on these roads, but Palestinian citizens cannot?’ and he said ‘First off, I reject the idea that there are such people…’ When she asked for clarification, he confirmed ‘Yes, I do not believe Palestinians exist.’ 🤯

As an American African. The problem is that the arabs don't want to live side by side with the jews while the jews allow the arabs to live side by side with them thus why there are millions of arabs in isreal today and no single jew in Jordan or any other arab country. The arabs also refused to accept a two state solution too. so by definition the arabs do not want peace or any settlement thus the arabs want the jews to disappear which is not possible thus why u have what is going on today and why there will never be peace unless 1 side destroys the other, there is no other way here.

The colonialist British Empire did the same thing to Cyprus in 1960, supposedly gave them their independence and drafted a flawed constitution which gave the small Turkish-Cypriot community at the time around 16% of the population, 50% rights to the whole island and 50% of ministerial positions in the new governmnet. Despite giving to the Cypriots their "independence" after years of fighting with the British rule for independence (known to the population as their Heros but by the British as terrorists). Britain added themselves, Greece and Turkey as guarantor countries to interveen if they deemed necessary. An Independent democratic state = guarantor powers??, makes no sense right. We couldn't leave the savages to govern themselves without supervision. By 1974 Turkey finds an excuse that some Greek Cypriots wanted to unify the island with Greece and "interviens" to protect the Turkish-cypriots and they are still there since 1974 forcing all Greekcypriots to move to South half of the island and all TurkishCypriots to the North. Making both sides refugees in their own country. Turkey since then has filled the Turkishcypriot side with Turkish settlers from Turkey. Ring any bells? P.S. Greek/Turkish Cypriots (christians/muslims) use to have mix villages and lived peacefully and happy together. you mean, the lies and misinformation Maybe I'm an idiot, but this guy in the video is completely wrong in the first answer. 1. Palestine land included the are of Jordan, and not just the west bank and the shore area. Both jews and arabs in the region were called palestinians. 2. around 85%-90% of the land (probably more) was given to a muslim governments (Jordan, west bank, Gaza and a bit more) and just 10%-15% to the jews (Israel). The land that was dedicated to a jewish government had about 40%-50% jews in there and 50%-60% arabs. The area in the WB and Gaza had a vast majority of muslim arabs, but those areas were for the arabs anyways. 3. According to the UN partition and the mandate no land was taken from no arab. Jews have settled in VACANT land or puchased land from the Ottomans and the British. They did NOT steal land from the arabs. 4. The idea of a jewish state in the area of Israel did not mean banishing arabs or taking land. It only meant that this area is governmed by jews and will include many many arabs as well. Just like is the case with the US and Europe that govern many christians, but also muslims and jews and indians etc. And the jewish statement of independence sp[ecifically says a jewish state (Meaning, jewish government) with freedom of religion to anyone, including christians and muslims. Saying that land was "taken" from the arabs is completely false. There were no plans to take any land from any arabs when the state of israel came to be. So the entire argument that it was not UN's right to take land from the arabs falls apart as no land was taken. It was simply that the governments who rule the area changed from Muslem\Ottomans, to christian\british to jews\zionists. That is all. But according to Islam, muslims must not be ruled by christians nor jews and must be the dominent religion so they refused the idea, even if no arab loses his land, not matter how tiny the jewish area is. Also, the Nakba was very much NOT preditated at all by Israel. It was the result of the surrounding arab states (Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Lebanon) that stated very very clearly they do not agree to any jewish state in the middle east, and they will invade and destroy Israel if the UN gives this land to jews. Just before the land was officially Israeli, the arabs states stated they will invade and destroy israel (One can call it "Genocide" or "Ethnical cleansing") and will take over the land that many jews bought completely legally from the ottomans and british. The arab states annoucened the arabs in Israel should leave to ease on the invasion of the arab states, and that the destruction of Israel will take about 2-3 weeks and then the arabs can return. Since this didn't happen, the arabs that left on the behest of the arab states, remained refugees. And instead of making a home where they fled to, the insisted on retaining an enternal war against the jews, that, during the call of the arab states to evacuate, asked the atabs to stay and promised they will not be hurt. Those who indeed stayed, still live there to this day and they are the proof that Israel meant what they said. The arabs could have acepted the palestinian state they were granted by the British but that meant they needed to recognize Israel as another state where arabs and jews live, but jews govern, and they didn't agree. Thus were left without a state. Or, the brits could have considered Jordan and the west bank a single Jordanian state, and then the palestinians were simply Jordanians and there was no problem. 5. And the map he showed in 4:25 is soooooo wrooooong! no wonder it's a map published by the most anti-semitic netweork alive - al-Jazeera, who is the main source of this lie. my former answer might have hinted on how wrong it is. 6. And asking is palestine free is a weird question because there is no palestine. There is the west bank and Gaza and they are different entities. But no. They are not free. Hamas is holding Gaza and the PA holding the west bank but Israel is policing the area because the PA police is useless and they can't even police their own population as the violence there is ridiculous. There is far more arab-vs-arab violence there and anti jewish violence. But both are rampant. 7. Jordan was occupying the West Bank since 1948. The west bank was taken from the Jordanians by Israel in 1967 because the Jordanians started attacking israel when israel waged attacks on Egypt in 1967. The palestinians started their own "regime" inside jordan called the PLO and started a civil war against Jordan and caused the black september in 1970 when they tried to overthrow the government. So Jordan realised the PLO is their enemies, decided to never claim the land that Israel conquered and that they want nothing to do with the palestinians. 8. The stats in 5:25 are also very misleading because they state where people can and can't live, but they are not stating WHY! kind of important. And the call "from the river to the sea" is NOT what he says it is. This is maybe what the West wish it to be, but NOT what the palestinians themselves mean, and what the West means is meaningless if the people who wish to live in palestine mean something very very different. Hint, about 80%-90% the people in palestine in surveys from the past 75 years say they wish to destroy israel and establish a muslim palestinian state from the river to the sea. So lets not put progressive peace loving words in the mouths of the people who want to live in the area that have no intention or desire for peace, and that was true since the 1800's. 9. what is going on in Gaza is not genocide at all. Israel has no desire to drive the palestinians out of their land. The population in Gaza and the West bank rose exponentially by 2.2% in the past 75 years. The population of palestinians inside of israel rose about the same. The population of jews in Israel rose by 1.8% only. Substantially less. There is no ethnical cleansing nor Genocide anywhere in the area. Palestinians in Israel, while to support a high quality of life for the palestinians who fled Israel in 48, prefer living in israel than in any other arab state, according to multiple surveys from the 90's until today, because they enjoy far more rights and freedom than anywhere else in the middle east. What's happening in Gaza is Israel attacking hamas, daily requesting palestinians to move out of Harms way. Israel has been inside of Gaza for weeks now, and according to the casualties numbers by Hamas, killed 250 palestinians per day. (lets not forget that many, if not most of which, are Hamas members). Hamas was in israel for 6 hours on the oct 7th and killed more than 1000 people, almost all civilians and children. They didn't ask the civilians to leave. They didn't warn them in advance. They didnt try and avoid civilian casualties. so israel is doing it's best efforts to avoid killing civilians, Hamas is doing it's best to kill as many civilians as possible. I just couldnt watch any more of this stupid video beyonf that point so I'm not gonna even repond to the other nonesense that this clearly misinformed or biased person is presenting as "answers"

@@adarwinterdror7245"what is going on in Gaza is not genocide at all" Okay then explain why they attacked Al shifa medical complex lacking evidence that there was a hamas center and only finding a list of arab names for the days of the week? This shows absolutely no regard for geneva Rule 16, Target Verification, whereby the party must do everything in their power to prove this is a millitary building, and yet they still have no evidence to support this claim. A series of CNN reports have emphasized this, wherein a military commander offered evidence of a “schedule with the names of the guards protecting the tunnel entrance.” This was, in fact, a document with the days of the week written in Arabic. Also the starvation and famine that israel is doing and water cuts The Geneva Convention (IV) relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, Article 55, stipulates that the Occupying Power “has the duty of ensuring the food and medical supplies of the population” and “may not requisition foodstuffs, articles or medical supplies available in the occupied territory.” Article 47 also stipulates, "Protected persons who are in occupied territory shall not be deprived, [...] of the benefits of the present Convention.” Failure to ensure food in the occupied territory may amount to the violation of Rule 53 of customary IHL, which explicitly forbids the starvation of the civilian population as a method of warfare. Israel's attacks over the last two months have been recognized as a “War of Starvation” by Euro-Med Monitor. The group's report cited the cutting off all food supplies to Northern Gaza, along with the deliberate targeting of bakeries and water stores throughout the Strip. Israeli attacks also targeted flour shops, bakeries, agricultural zones, fishing boats, and storage centers belonging to relief organizations. As of Nov. 5, 11 bakeries in Gaza had been targeted and destroyed. The distribution of food to displaced families also became severely limited due to Israel's ground invasion, further increasing the threat of widespread starvation and famine. It is painfully evident that Israel is deliberately targeting food supplies to Gazan citizens to further their genocidal objectives. All what they're saying is lies, the do in fact have genocidal objectives, they're just hiding it Israel has eliminated (due to youtube censorship) at least 106 Palestinian journalists and employed collective punishment in the targeting and elimination of their families. It has also eliminated at least 300 health workers, 136 UN employees, and 40 civil defense members. Which is a major war crime

Palestine was never Jordan. The Balfour declaration stated only Palestine, which is the current borders of Palesitne-Israel and did not include Jordan. The mandate included Jordan, but that's all Jordanians are not Palestinians, and are a seperate peoples with seperate traditions @@adarwinterdror7245 That is completely false, back then they called the land vacant and called it "a land without people" but, indeed there were people and most of them were kicked out after the land was bought from large land owners who are not even palestininas, and palestenians were banned from entering the place even if just to work As I said, Thedore Herzl's friends, Mostly Weizmann. Bought most of that land actively kicked out any arabs in the area, and as i said, also banned them from coming and hired guards to pervent them from entering said land. Hundreds of Thousands of Innocent Arabs, if not a million. Were expelled in the period of 1920-1948 Literally 60% of the land Israel got in the partiion had Arab-Majority lands. That is taking land from Arabs, hell you only arriving in the land like 10 years ago then calling it yours and seceding means "taking land". What's wrong with Muslims wanting to own the land they have owned for 1300 years straight. Muslims have also kept this area largely peaceful (barring the Crusades) for that time. The land being governed by Israel literally means the loss of Arab land. Ashkenazi Jews saw Arabs and even Mizrahi Jews as "Lesser people" just like how Britain saw the native americans as "un-civillized red indians" and thought they were greater than them. You first president, Ben Gurrion was openly racist against Mizrahis I'll continue refuting your points later. I don't see why you somehow deny everypoint so easily as if Jews have never did anything wrong and they're an entirely innocent people

@RoChan786 Ill say a couple for example. 1. he said Britain took over Palestine as a colonialist control which is wrong, Britain took responsibility for that land after the Ottoman empire was defeated, so Britain had full say on what happened in that land, it was their land, they could do whatever they wanted with it, in the video it makes it sound like it wasn`t their word on what happened to the land. 2. he says that the un partition vote was hosted by the British which is incorrect, they gave the land to the US, and the US was the one that hosted the partition, the actual partition plan the British had was the Peel Commission plan which gave more than 80% of the land to the arabs and the rest to the jews who were living there, but the arabs rejected it, they just wouldn`t accept jews living next to them. and then the arabs rebelled and tried to kill the jews that lived there. 3. he claims that the partition plan which divided the land was unfair, as it was 53% jews and 47% arabs, which is wrong on a lot of levels, first of all who are you to say it was unfair, are you the US? the land was under their control and they did what they thought was right. second of all, he fails to mention the fact that you can`t just cut a country in half, it doesn`t work like that, the 47/53 was the best way to cut the land in half, you couldn`t do a perfect 50/50. third of all, he doesn`t mention the fact that a lot of the land given to the jews in that partition were deserts and places you couldn`t live in. and forth of all, he seemingly claims it wasn`t fair because there were more arabs then jews, so they gave the majority less of the land, so therefor its unfair, which is technically true, but, the entire point of creating the land of Israel was to give jews a home, a country they could live in, a place where they wouldn`t be discriminated against, at that time just a couple of years ago 6 million of the jews were brutally killed simply for being Jewish, if they had a land of their own, most likely that wouldn`t happen/wouldn`t be as severe, so the land of Israel was made for the jews that lived all over the world, not only those who immigrated or lived in settlements there, and back then there were around 10 million jews that lived throughout the world, and even if you say that not all the jews had to live in Israel even if you took a tenth of their population that would still make more jews than arabs (which lived in that land), so technically the partition was unfair for the jews more then it was for the arabs. 4. in the video they mention the nakba which was a horrible thing but they don`t bring up the fact that the only reason it happened was because of the war that the arabs themselves started, after the vote, the jews were celebrating, but the arabs didn`t, they didn`t accept it, just like i mentioned before with the Peel Commission plan the arabs just couldn`t accept the fact that they had to live next to Jews, a part of it might be because the arab leaders were really close with Hitler but thats a different topic, mostly they just didn`t accept for their own reasons. so after the vote the arabs that lived there and every single arab country that sorrounded Israel revolted in a war that was called in Israel "the war of independence" and the "1948 Arab-Israeli War" in other places, all the arabs tried to expel/kill all the jews there, and the jewish retaliation was what created the nakba, which was a horrible thing, but i think one thing we should understand was that this war was a win or die thing for the jews, they did what they thought was needed to be done to survive. in that war the jews actually won, surprisingly, and because of that they won control over the entire land of Israel and more, and by that i mean some of Egypt and Lebanon's land but they decided that they`ll give that land, except for most of "Palestine" but they did give gaza and the west bank to the arabs, so Jordan and Egypt had control over them, and they actually gave that land because the arabs said that these places were important to them, even though Israel had every right to keep it as they defeated them in a war that they didn`t even wage, but they decided to give it to them anyways for hopes of peace. 5. he said Jesus was a Palestinian, which by then you should just completely stop listening to anything he says because that`s just wrong, and claiming that shows you 1. have no idea what you`re talking about and 2. is biased af. Jesus according to every single Abrahamic religion was a jew, he was born in Judea, and was raised as a Jew, he was not Palestinian, the name "Palestine" was first ever mentioned by the Romans when they called Judea "Syria Palaestina" in around the year 200, around 200 years after Jesus died, so he physically couldn`t be a Palestinian, he also said that he was christian which is also wrong. And there`s a lot more wrong things he said this is just a couple.

@@adielcohen4048To say I won’t agree with you, though this is to make you say that you’re okay with colonialists from many colonialism countries that have had the audacity to invade into Gaza, and occupy Palestine, forced them to evacuate of their homes, and kill them because they’re obviously psychopaths. This man you’re talking about lives in the West Bank of Palestine. He’s seen it, he’s lived it all his life. He wouldn’t be here telling his truth if he didn’t have this knowledge that he’s gathered throughout his life. He could be dead on any day. You need to open up your mind and stop to think about the Palestinians story instead of this both side narrative you seem to get your stories from. Palestinians as Muslims and Zionists, Jews need to stay on the side of history because October 7th this year is distraction to all those who only see the war as a win, win fighting battle whilst more Palestinians have suffered a lot in their homes. Stop trying to defend an apartheid regime in the world. Until, Jews later understand who the rest of the Israeli right wing people are, maybe this war could finally end, and Hamas is not to blame for their destruction, and government system.

Yes the British limited Jewish migration to Israel, but not Arab migration to Israel. That's why the Jewish population wanted the British out. It was discriminatory to limit one people, especially the ones that were having all their rights liberties and life removed by Nazis (axis colonies also sent their Jewish population to death camps so you can't even pretend it was only European Jews)

Honestly I am not speaking facts but merely speculating. But there was a period in the history where Israel had a political leader Yitzhak Rabin who was seeking peace, along with the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, which lead up to the Oslo accord. Jews assassinated Yitzhak Rabin to prevent peace. I'm guessing that palestinians were granted citizenship during the period when Rabin was leading Israel.

While many Palestinian villages were destroyed and many Palestinians fled during the Nakba, not all of them did. So Palestinians who remained within the borders of the new state of Israel in 1948 were granted citizenship, but since the West Bank and the Gaza Strip were not within these initial borders, they weren't given citizenship.
@thez5997

Yeah as explained before while they tried to remove all palestinians from the land during the nakbah a few villages were not removed and these people got citizenship but althought being treated vastly better than palestinians in the west bank, east jerusalem and gaza there are many discriminatory laws within israel so they do not have the same rights and they are second class citizens,Israel is an apartheid ethnostate and even in its charter it is evident saying it is a land for jews, also the 750k or so palestinians displaced and there descendants adding up to a few million now have no right or return meaning they are not allowed to come back to there homes alot of them still having the keys to there houses while jews no matter where they are from are allowed to come freely to israel and in the case of settlers encouraged to steal palestinian land in the west bank.

When The UN partitioned the land some Jews were in Palestine and some Palestinians were in Israel it wasn't a perfect split. When the war of independence happened some Palestinians stayed, some fled to avoid war, some were kicked out, and some left because they were told by all the neighboring muslim countries that they would destroy Israel and then they could come back. Israel won the war, its territory grew and any Palestinian who was in the Israeli territory after the war received citizenship. During that same war Jordan annexed the West Bank and Egypt annexed the gaza strip. A few years later the six day war broke out and Israel ended up tripling its territory which it largely used to trade back for peace later on. but the West Bank and Gaza were part of that, Israel never annexed those regions, it did annex the Golan Heights and the people there receive citizenship. The West Bank exists in the Limbo of not officially Israel but under its control but also under the control of the PA, those people don't have citizenship. I glossed there A LOT of pretty complicated history but generally that is why some Palestinians are citizens and why some aren't

It actually taught me why they are suffering so much, they would rather be Jew free like Gaza then live in a country that raised the standard of living for many Palestinian/arab Israelis. He lives in the West Bank which is separated into 3 territories, some ruled by Fatah (Palestinians) and some Israeli. They would rather fight for a place that has mass immigration in the 1900s (on both sides) than be willing to work with an Israeli company that many(1.8million) of his Palestinian/arab Israeli compatriots already do. They have a higher standard of education and the Israeli government has programs to promote literacy in Arabic for all children that doesn't happen in other Arabic countries.
