I love Georgia. I have been here twice and would recommend staying here. I don't know Georgian that well, but I really like this nation.

Thank you for posting this teaching about Georgian culture. I would recommend for your channel a video for each alphabetical letter of Georgian, and then giving word examples of each letter in Georgian using that letter in words. And the reason I write this is because I saw this once with Cyrillic alphabet in a video series that got removed from KZitem, but I still remember at least half of those letters. I really seemed effective. Peace and best regards!

Thank you for answering my question😁 Also, I am enjoying listening to the band მგზავრები at the moment. They were recommended by a Georgian friend.

A late comment from me, it is important for those who intend to visit Georgia...people who speak russian think "o i can speak russian, so i dont need to learn some georgian or speak English, they all know russian!!.. i,too, had this misconception, until watching this video.. you are very right..this thinking may be offensive for georgian people, and they have the right to react against it..

Wow, what a nice video. Thanks, Ana. I have spent quite some time in Georgia and only have nice things to say about its people. Everyone is friendly and ready to help a stranger. I agree that when you come to another country, people there are not supposed to speak your language. Still many of them do, which is convenient but doesn't help in learning Georgian. Thanks to such resources as your channel it is easier to learn the language. And I agree about შუა ქალაქში. It is awesome. It's like watching Friends when you learn English.

I would say Georgians kiss on the left cheek! 😄 I lived there four years, and in my country, Chile, we kiss on the right, so I remember I had some awkward, confusing, kind of funny moments when I tried kissing as greeting to my now Georgian friends. I miss Sakartvelo (Georgia) I will come back there❤. (my wife and son are Georgians). Somewhere I read Jason hanged around a time at Shorapani fortress 🙂 Near lives my father in law.

Great video. Thanks so much for these suggestions. I am curious to discover them! For the last 6 months, I am learning Georgian. I learnt the alphabet, numbers, some cases endings, etc. But, I would say my main concern is my inability to pronounce a series of 2 or 3 successive consonants in the same word. It be great if you can make a video of pronunciation practice.

We have some 60.000 georgian living in Türkiye. İt is pity that New generations do not know or speak georgian except for some daily words... We Turks perform your folk dances as a part of our culture. Turks living in Kars and Ardahan cities have the same music, customs as a result of mutual relations, though some of these interactions were wars unfortunately. İ read a lullaby telling about the atrocities of turkic people, such as ottomans, seljuks..i felt sorry for what happened in old times. Now leaving them behind we look ahead of course
