as a very introverted person who barely speaks to those around me whether at uni or at my work place. Seeing u that excited while talking about how much u love communicating with others, helping them and making a difference in their lives and u wanted to become a nurse for this reason. don't know why but inspired me to break out of my isolated circle and start making an effort to change the way I think about this topic. I truly want to experience the feeling of happiness after communicating with others because I am usually very exhausted after any social event or activity no matter how simple it was

I love watching your videos. I’m a second semester nursing student and I’m enjoying my clinicals so much. I like seeing the little differences between states or schools. I’m doing my psych clinical and foundations clinical. We’re rooting for you!!! 👏👏👏

I’ve been watching you for over a year… and I can’t believe how similar my thought/goals are… I am stunned and literally just called my mom to tell her 😂. I’m only a senior in high school, but am starting nursing/pre-nursing this fall. One speciality I’m interesting is pediatric oncology. I want to gain experience then do travel nursing and then get my NP! Literally stunned!! ❤

Could you do a video on the pros and cons of nursing school? I’m starting in the fall and I keep hearing negative things and I need to know some positives of nursing school 😂

@@ginaperillo2420 there are definitely more pros than cons for nursing school, but i’d love to make a video like this! if you have any suggestions for specific topics you’d like for me to cover let me know

Man direct entry programs are amazing! It’s so competitive where I live that they require all prereqs done first, most applicants have 4.0 and are bilingual, have healthcare experience, a prior degree, and 85+ on the TEAS. I have a 4.0, but no prior degree and I’m not bilingual, so I don’t have a chance of being accepted. I don’t know why they make it so hard, since our healthcare settings employ so many travel nurses from other states who never would've qualified for our programs 🥴 Really feels like a scam sometimes. The BSN program I’m working with now is direct entry and offers the didactic portion online. Because I have my LVN and all my prereqs done and most of my GE courses, it’s less than 2 years and I didn’t have to take the TEAS to get in, either. Good luck! Love your videos!

Do you have any tips for chemistry? I’ve had small tastes of it in A&P and I feel like my brain is not capable of comprehending it 😂

@@becomingalexus2503 chemistry was really tough for me, your professor makes a huge difference!! but regardless of if you have a good or bad professor.. go to class and at least try to learn something. then after class, look through your lecture again and use the textbook to your advantage! do practice equations because chemistry has a lot of math. make concept maps and everything starts to connect. i had to teach myself everything because i didn’t learn from my prof, but i went to class every single time and put in the effort outside of class and ended with a B! you can do this! it’s not easy but it can be done😇

so you did all your pre reqs while in nursing school? Is your nursing school slightly longer than the average nursing school?
