This is the first episode of Oneonthehill Food Experiences. We were invited by our friends Alex and Tiziano from Ant Novello for a very special meal. Ant is a brand new restaurant in Langhe with amazing and innovative ideas:
- no menu
- no wine list (just grab the bottle you like from the wine cave)
- free offer on the food, you'll pay whatever you feel like at the end of the experience
- traditional and international flavours mixed together in the most sustainable way
Piemonte loves tradition: the wine, the food, the very people are connected to old practices and habits at a cultural level. Since we moved back after our time in Sonoma County, we've been a part of a movement made of young professionals, that recognised the potential of the area and started their own adventure. Ant is one of these adventures: Sommelier Tiziano and Chef Alex definitely innovate and challenge the food scene of the Langhe with their incredibly artistic concept: they put together the creativity of a high-end Scandinavian restaurant with a street food corner in Thailand and the cozy feeling of an Italian Osteria.
