Good choice. I had AVM50V for quite a couple of years now, but traded it in to get a Marantz 7702MKii preamp. I know it may be considered a step - down by some, but I wanted Atmos and my budget just could not afford the Anthem this time around. They do make some very awesome sounding processors. Pretty sure you won't regret that choice. Enjoy!

Nice unboxing Bruh. I have the AVM50 3D and I'll be staying with Anthem when I decide to make a strategic move in the future. You're going to enjoy how your processor sound because they just have a knack for gear that sounds incredible!

Enjoy the Anthem AVM60 Brolic Media. It looks like an extremely nice acquisition. My jaw dropped at 5:49 when I saw the amount of inputs and outputs that the Anthem AVM60 features. Wow!

It is nice to see that Optical, Coaxial, and Analog connections are still being included on modern processors and receivers. Those older connections still come in handy sometimes. I remember when Component Video was very common and nowadays it has almost become a thing of the past.

Good video & a great piece of kit. Sky's the limit as you can choose any amplifier to complement. I think emotiva makes good value for money products but one thing rings true. Amplifiers are less likely to change as frequent as preamps so audition what works with your speakers best! Happy hunting.

Have you decided on the projector yet, after selling the old Sony 600, the JVC RS 4500 laser is supposed to be amazing with native 4k instead of eshift, infinite dynamic contrast and 3000 lumens brightness?

maxwired 223 had to sell it...they are too behind the times, technology wise. for music only, it doesn't get better than Theta...but for home theater, I needed something more up-to-date.

one issue I have with the avm60 is when you cut the power to the unit. randomly it will not power up. I have to wait for 5 or 10 minutes the it will suddenly work. let me know if you get the same issue. I have my kit connect to a ups. cyber power 1350va smooths out demand from the subs and amps. when playing war of the world's the ups lights up and you can see the load increase..cool

Bill Sandel hahahahahahha it's been chirping for months....its been replaced with a far more robust model than the builder-grade detector, so It's just slowly dying under a pile of wood right now.

Mat cool i disagree strongly; however, even if I agreed, aesthetics and perceived "cheapness" have no downstream bearing on performance.
