This was really one of the best episodes for sure, LMAO! I understand Amantine's point on the 308, 556, but like Wade says, it depends on what is your end use, out west we are taking some longer shots on a regular basis, (with more wind) - and these new rounds are the Sh!t out here. With that in mind Wade, do keep in mind that you do have an audience here out west.

I absolutely enjoyed the in depth conversation on cartridges/ calibers. Someone finally called hornyday out on there marketing fuck ups. Don't get me wrong, I shoot a ton of hornyday. This podcast felt like good old times around the campfire. I enjoy the adult banter back and forth, and shit talking. Its a art form lost to the web forums etc. Keep up the good work.

44:50 just saying the KAK 17-5.56 has been a great lil cartridge for me so far. Getting 3897 with Hornady 25gr pills. Brass forming is super easy. Would love if y'all would take a look at it. Or the .17 stinger from Maddog weapons system. Also any chance ally munitions would ever get into customs bullet making ? Because there a lot of .17 cal guys who want some heavy grain non tipped bullets. Think the .20cal guys too. Seems like something y'all would Excel at but idk

I don't know where you heard it's supposed to be better than the T,i it's supposed to be a trade off for the market who doesn't want to use their mounting system for some reason. Its probably going to be suboptimal with the majority of mounting systems out there.

Wade’s been better recently until he starts insisting 6 arc matches 6 creed performance and hiding, for some reason, what bullets he uses to hunt? Weird.

@@txpredatorhunting The way they evacuate the gas keeping it from your face but not sacrificing sound reduction at the muzzle. Also sound good on 300 subs if that’s your thing(ODB). While both the WB and ODB will handle 6 ARC I hear they are coming out with a specific can for that round. Probably has a lot to do with what you were talking about regards to the extra powder capacity and the higher likelyhood of people mostly going to shoot factory 6 ARC loads.
@JNOSNOW

I mean they probbly sound a bit different but the WB and ODB have essentially the exact same performance as the Flow 762 Ti on the shorty 5.56. It will be cool to see how they do on the 14.5 when he gets around to that.

Get worked up all you want, I knew about this cartridge way before it was released. I’ve been hunted with it on and off for 3yrs and the results in the field with factory ammo is not impressive. Wade did agree that it’s not the cartridge for pigs, will it do the job yes with the right shot placement but there’s better choices. Loading for it makes a huge difference but majority is not going to load for it! Anybody that has spent enough time with it knows I’m dropping facts!
