Personally, I started messing around on Korg DS-10 with no knowledge of synthesizers at all. Over time, I figured out how things worked on my own. Watching other Korg DS-10 videos on KZitem helped a lot as well. =)

Actually, the DSi has a much better output than the 3DS does. The quality of the DSi sounds really fresh and it's actually a lot louder than the 3DS. I'm using Nintendo 3DS consoles in this video for a visual flair as well as distinction between my previous live mix. =)

Thank you! Well, in this case, imagine that both of the 3DSs are just two turntables. I go back and forth between both of the 3DSs so that I can play one song and prepare the next one. Every song here was created on one 3DS. =)

Here I am, years into the future, getting super jazzed about learning synths, learning about making music, and discovering a copy of DS-10 kicking around in the closet! Your videos are great inspiration. (I picked up my 3DS just a couple years ago. (I like to run consoles a generation or two behind so "new to me" games are plentiful and affordable.) I'm also relatively advanced in age to begin to take an interest in making music. Not too late though, just later than many others.

I just watched both of your mix videos and like everyone else here I'm so impressed! Quick question do you go back and forth between song mode and just the regular mode where you change patterns? And are you using all 4 drum parts available. I am new to the ds coming from the ism-20 in the iPad but really enjoying the stylus method and dual mode. Learning a lot from videos like yours. And one more question. There isn't a way to copy one song to the other ds right? Too bad we can't save them on the sd cartridges or can we? Thanks so much.
@AnthonySeehaArchive
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you for listening! =) I go back and forth between PATTERN mode and SONG mode just to keep things interesting. Of course, song mode is a lot more structured, whereas pattern mode allows for more freedom of improvisation. I try to make the most of what available in a DS-10 project file, so I always take up every synth. Lastly, Korg DS-10 has a data exchange function that allows you to send and save a song to another DS with Korg DS-10. Saving project files to an SD card is not possible, unfortunately.
@MariaCalfaDePaul
10 жыл бұрын
***** thanks so much for clarifying. I hope you put out more vids and a tutorial on some of your techniques would be amazing. When you say you can exchange the files how is that done? Do I need to buy a special connection cable? I bought a used ds-10 plus without any info so I have learning hands on etc. Thanks again

You can buy Korg DS-10 at retail stores and places like Amazon and ebay. Korg DS-10 is an actual cartridge for the Nintendo DS series. You won't find it as a downloadable title on the Nintendo eShop.
