Wonderful informative video. I've got arthritis and have done a good amount of initial research and this confirms so much of what I've read, so affirms I'm on the right track. It's a concise engaging summary. Many Thanks Luke

I was whole food plant based for 5 years. I took the Cornell plant based eating course. I followed all the top plant based docs. I developed several injuries that wouldn’t heal, I had a lot of gas, bloating, IBS and other issues. Eventually I added eggs and ghee back into my diet and noticed some small improvements over the next couple of years. I then went full carnivore. Carnivore is hands down the most anti inflammatory diet you can eat. It isn’t even close. Eating foods high in antioxidants is not going to make a big difference. The way to make a big difference is to switch to a high meat diet that puts you into ketosis. The body chemistry change made by the combination of being in ketosis and eliminating plant foods is the key to eliminating inflammation. All of the strategies you are promoting are wishful thinking born out of theory. In reality it just doesn’t work that way. The reality is a diet high in animal fat and red meat will make your body feel amazing. The amount of people who tried plant based and then saw real life changing improvements on carnivore are staggering. You will notice some improvements plant based purely based on the fact that you are eliminating processed foods but that is it.

Yo! Thanks for your comment and checking out the video. That's awesome that you're being proactive with your health and are feeling better now. I'm actually working on a video on this that will come out soon, but unfortunately there's a lot of 'vegan' or 'plant-based' misinformation out there that can lead to a lot of people having poor experiences with their health. That said, there's a lot of research on the benefits of certain foods to help reduce inflammation as I have shared in this video. That's great that you're feeling better on carnivore at the moment but think about it this way - how were you feeling when you first went whole foods plant based? I know a lot of people say they feel a whole lot better, but then if they aren't planning it well it can lead to issues over time. It's also the exact same thing with carnivore - I'm sure you're feeling better now, but how do you know in 5 years you're not gong to start having other issues? The thing is, any extreme approach for most people in the long term isn't going to work. When we make big changes we can feel better in the short term - but if we're wanting optimal long term health then it's better to create a sustainable approach. Just because meat might be healthy doesn't mean plants are unhealthy and vice versa. This video covers simple things that anyone can do - no matter what dietary approach they subscribe to can do and benefit their health. It's great carnivore is working for you, but the thing is for the large majority of people that are suffering out there, they don't have the time, resources or money to afford it and there's actually really small, simple shifts that can be made that can have a profound impact on health. I personally am extremely skeptical of the long-term health effects of eating a carnivore diet but there's no doubt it's helping people in the short term. I just hope people can find a sustainable and healthy way of eating that works for them in their life so they can feel good, not just now but also in the future.

@@planted.nutrition I took the Cornell plant based eating course and I followed all the top vegan docs. I ate what they would consider a well balanced plant based diet. I did feel better in the beginning but not to the degree I do now. I think that had more to do with what I stopped eating.

So you went from one extreme to another. And people should take you seriously? Lol, you need to learn a lot. Good luck on your journey.

@@Gromobran I started from the place of a balanced diet. I have had IBS, constant horrible gas and bloating since I was a kid. Always very active and fit. My health gradually declined as I hit my 40s. I only started looking into the extremes trying to heal myself.
