My family has maintained a home in Antibes and later Juan les Pins since the 1930'ies. My father lived in the old city back in 1935 during the summers. Later in 1970, he bought a farmhouse in Juan les Pins, and we lived there until his passing 5 years ago. 4 generations have enjoyed the beautiful beaches, wonderful food and quiet lifestyle. I can say that I prefer the underdeveloped times back in the sixties before all the tourists and wealthy people decided to move in and cramp the limited space there. Thanks for posting!

Hi, I'm in the area next week and was looking forward to flying my drone as well. However, I've been told its illegal and that the French are very strict about flying. How did you manage?

It is not forbidden, but the rules became quite complicated lately, requiring certifications, proper insurances, etc. See for more info: www.safedroneflying.aero/en/drone-guide/drone-regulations
