I also have read all three mult times and the novella. So excited for Book 4. Haven't really felt this way about dragon books since Inheritance. Still mad at Chris for waiting 12years to put out another novel in Alagaesia when he left soooo many plot holes and unanswered questions in the cycle. He know he had more to tell and 12yrs was just too long. I will say this. Michael doesn't do this and when he finish a Series he finishes it with no plot holes and unanswered questions. But, he also leaves room to write more if he wants to. This is what Chris should have done if your not going to put out a book in 12yrs. Ok done complaining. I love both authors. and Michael writing is 100X better than in dragon blade (love that series too. JUST LIKE SONGS OF CHAOS WAY MORE!!!)

I love seeing booktubers, especially bigger ones talk about their libraries. I use mine almost exclusively, it's an incredible place to utilize and support so it's so nice seeing others use theirs too 💙💙(even with the pesky wait times haha)

Nice thing about Libby, the holds that come in can be delayed, so you can let the next person in line have the ebook and then you get more time but not lose the hold. Also, if you live somewhere the city and county lines overlap, you can get multiple cards and thus have access to different hold lines. This is nice because regional/local differences in library catalog sizes, popularity differences, and just the availability of some titles. I know Libby also lets their member libraries know if there are a lot of holds and it can prompt them to purchase more licenses to satisfy the demand. Libby also does lottery style “skip the line” for some titles where I believe the title is provided by Libby or another library that has availability but no one making use of the loan. Overall, Libby is a fantastic system and especially if you have parents or siblings that live in different places, if you can borrow their card info for ebook loans, it’s not like you ever incur a late fine because it will automatically return the book. Plus, most libraries have a hold and loan cap, so you need to be strategic and thoughtful when making your selections.

Hi :) Thank you for your videos. I live in Belgium. My local library is part of the provincial network. This means that i can ask for a book from any of the libraries. Most of the time books arrive quite quickly (around 2 weeks). My librarian sometimes asks the same book in multiple libraries and cancels the open demands a soon as one copy comes in. The network is starting up an audiobook collection on interest. Every member can rent a book there at anytime. It’s like streaming so there is not one copy for one person. I’ve tested it out and it works well. For my monthly tbr i do keep in mind that maybe i won’t get all the books i would like from the library and i make a mix of audio (audible or library), books i own, book i now are available in my local library and books i ask for from the network. The library has a service called bibliodrive. It’s ordering books and picking them up. I use it and make an appointment every month. 2 weeks ahead of the date i send an email with a list of the books i would like to rent. Most of the time i have all of them, sometimes one arrives a week or 2 later.

You can deliver it later! Next time a Libby comes in check manage loan and you can select to deliver it later. You don’t lose your spot in line. It goes to the next person and then will come right back to you when they finish or after the timeframe you set. it’s super handy! 💕

I really enjoyed A Tempest of Tea! It was so much fun. It is kind of like Six if Crows in that theres a heist, found family, crew, and a teenage criminal mastermind. Definitely a similar vibe. But the actual story and characters and the world arent that similar. And yes vampires. But theyre not in a crazy or annoying way.

Love my small library! they also have hoopla in addition to libby, so I use that too, although I don't like reading on backlit screen as much so I tend to use it for comics/cookbooks/art tutorial books more than say, fantasy or sci-fi reading. And I only have ten borrows on hoopla per month with my library. *sigh*. However, Libby, other than the waiting, is fantastic. But you might check and see if your library has other reading platforms in addition to those two. I know mine has catalogues for a bunch of different online stuff I don't even use, really, other than Freegal (music streaming service). And Interlibrary loan service is amazing for physical books. :-) Good luck getting your books this month!

If you have Spotify Premium then A Study in Drowning is available there. That was one of my favorite books of last year. It wrapped up a bit too tidily for me but i loved the characters and atmosphere. My Libby holds *always* come in at the same time. On the fall I stupidly ended up accepting 10 at once because I got a bunch of new releases. Right now Im working through a bunch of delayed requests because I was in a reading slump in January.

Hey Elle. Does your library have the option to suspend your holds? This option keeps you in the hold list but skips over you until you're ready to reactivate your hold. This allows you to not be overwhelmed with too many books all at the same time.
