From this discussion I come to know that antigen which is foreign particle which maybe virus or bacteria come from outside and on the other hand antibody almost present in body which bind with antigen and fight or engulf the foreign particle in thats way our body immuno system work.

Antibodies are produced by RBC or Lymphocytes?..Why in some videos it is said that RBC have antibodies on them?..in some videos it is said that white cells produce antibodies?...plz clarify...
@jekanupendran6148
3 жыл бұрын
Plasma cells secrete antibodies depending on the class stimulated by the T helper cells, rbc are non nucleated cells with no secretory functions and only carry oxygen. White blood cells are a collection of lymphocytes and granulocytes and are involved primarily in acquired immunity. The rbc have Surface antigen that determine your blood group, they are recognized as self antigens and donot initiate immune response.

@@jekanupendran6148 Thank you...How can 'AB' blood group people have immunity when there are no Antibodies in their blood plasma?...plz tell this as well....
@jekanupendran6148
3 жыл бұрын
@@logicthought7636 antibodies are not preformed and are produced by plasma cells everytime an antigen enters the body , if you have memory cells with prior sensitization to the antigen it will be faster and aggressive , like immunity produced from vaccines. RBC membrane antigens are self-antigens and donot get recognised as bad for our body and antibodies are not formed. An AB blood group will have A,B and H antigen, which are all self and donot stimulate immunity to produce anti-A,anti-B,anti-H. You're concept is fundamentally wrong and I suggest you erase that and become open minded to understand the basics.
Hello Mam this make me CONFUSED so much I don't know answer of it please tell IT'S MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS Which of the following descriptions are correct about "cross reaction"? A Cross reaction means that a specific A antibody can react with different antigens; B Cross reaction means a specific antigen can be recognized by different anitbodies; C Cross reaction means that different antigens have the same epitopes D It is a cross reaction when anti- cowpox antibody can neutralize with the smallpox virus E It is a cross reaction when anti- E cowpox antibody can neutralize with the cowpox vaccine
