I lived in guatemala 20 years ago during one year.last year for year more and now im planning to go back to finish my Life .im just a little younger than you but i love so much this country ,this people and your vidéos is very Nice and you are always smiling and enjoyind i like that à lot ,specially for people from US..sorry for my english.just keep going

Interesting fountain. I give you two a lot of credit for having the bravery and adventurous spirit.That must be amazing for Holy Week. Hispanics are very religious. I hope you do return for Holy Week someday. It's great that you can fly your drone without as many restrictions as we have here. That church was beautiful. I've never had molé but I do love plantains.

When I lived in Guatemala 33 years ago, I learned the hard way to avoid all street food. Hopefully things are more sanitary these days. Did you have any bad reactions to the street food? Corn with salt and lime is amazing..You are making me so excited for my trip!!

Things are probably much better. We had no problems at all. The only place we have been sick on the entire trip has been Panama City, and that was just eating in restaurants! We will be excited to hear about your trip! John and Bev

These [Floats] are named TRONOS or ANDAS and are carried by Penitentes , or Cucuruchos , [ caparuchos OR Capuruchos in Andalucia] the Holly week in ANTIGUA is one of the two most famous and solemn in the World with the one in Andalucia , Antigua was Capital of all Central America for Three Centuries . and was consider one of the three most Beautyful jewels of the Colonial Empire together with Mexico City and Lima [ Peru].
