I have a 1859 Brunswick I'm in the process of restoring. Very helpful information. Thank you. Very nice table you got there!

That is one beautiful pool table! You did an amazing job with the restoration! I bought an old (30-40 years old) Brunswick table that I am fixing to restore. I am not sure if the wood will be the same quality as yours is but I won't know until I uncover it. Again, a beautiful restoration and a wonderful job. Hope your enjoy it for many, many years to come.

Beautiful project. I found this video because I was wondering how difficult it might be to restore a table. Beautiful work!

Very well done! I'm about to start a refurb on an old pool hall Brunswick built between 1920-1945. Not sure. My grandfather bought it from a local pool hall in 1967. It was already an antique when he bought it. Has all that glass on one side of it survived? I could see a cue ball crashing through it.

I'm also in the middle of restoring a Brunswick Liberty table (1938-1946) so thanks for the video. Wish my table had this kind of hidden wood, but mine was built in a more spartan, utilitarian fashion for use on military bases. Did you install new rail rubber? Definitely looked original and dry rotted.

Was replacing the felt reasonably easy? Your table is a real beauty.

It was not too hard. I followed advice from several youtube videos and most especially kept the fabric tight as I used an electric stapler to fasten it. Same approach with the cushions. Thanks for the interest

The cushions seemed like they were in good shape and have played well. Thanks for the question

What type of stripper did you use? That seemed to come off super easy.

5pm. The music was like a tom and jerry cartoon. Very distracting. If you can play music why not explain the process.

so over restored worthless now in my opinion , light clean of the finish with , turpintine mixed with some oils( revivore mix ) and then a new cloth etc , would have been enought

Nah, he wanted this style so he did this style. He clearly could have done just the basics, but he wanted a new table
