Cockshutt's every color of the rainbow. Their rear ends had huge Bull Gears in them. Nice to see them live on.

@@donvoll2580 in my opinion, yes. They were light but overbuilt for strength.

Cockshutt 40/50 and Massey-Harris 33/44 have the best rear ends for V8 classic pulling.

My brother has a Massey-Harris 55 with a Chrysler 392 Hemi. It was one of the first modified pullers from the late 1960's, and was the first modified to hook to a progressive sled at the National Tractor Pull Championship in Bowling Green, Ohio in 1969. I keep trying to talk him into taking it to some Hot Rod Tractor pulls, but he doesn't want to hurt it. It would also take a lot of work to get it legal for modern-day pulling. It would have to have a roll cage, but that would ruin the original look of the tractor, which is perfect for a vintage modified.
