In this film Antony Gormley discusses his spectacular artwork, Field for the British Isles, which consists of 40,000 tiny individual terracotta figures and is the largest single artwork in the Arts Council Collection.
Field for the British Isles was made by the artist in 1993 with 100 volunteers at a school in St Helens, Merseyside and is one of Gormley’s most iconic artworks.
