If you ever do a disturbing documentary series, it is probably in your best interest to _NOT_ watch (…or do because it’s entirely up to you, jokes aside) the 2008 documentary “Dear Zachary: A Letter To A Son About His Father”. It has to be one of the saddest yet most infuriating true stories I’ve ever heard. You’ll be left with dreadful emotions after viewing it.

A disturbing documentary series sounds great! Here's a few of my recommendations: *Whole series:* - _Seconds From Disaster_ (Any episodes are good choices here, but some ones I think would be especially good to cover are the ones about the Uberlingen Mid-Air Collision, King's Cross fire, crash of JAL Flight 123, and the Meltdown at Chernobyl) - _Zero Hour_ (The episodes about Columbine, the North Hollywood Shootout and the Sinking of the Estonia are particularly good) - _Mayday_ (also known as Air Crash Investigation) *Individual documentaries:* - _Mondo Cane_ (“A Dog’s World”, a Mondo film contrasting humanity’s morality with its capacity for cruelty, as well as strange activities from around the world) - A Japanese documentary about the 1999 Tokaimura nuclear accident (I'm not sure what it's name is, but it was produced in 2009 and is freely available on KZitem with subtitles) - _Jeremy Kyle: Death on Daytime_ (A two-parter about the very real consequences of a particularly vile daytime talk show in the UK which made a mockery out of poor people and sufferers of mental illness, that got cancelled after one of its guests committed suicide)

This flick was a blast. As fashionable as it has been the past decade or so to "homage" the 70s grindhouse era this and Headless (2015) are the only ones that really captured the 'feel' of those films. Would have loved if this idea got traction back in the early Internet days. Showing my age here but I remember the very real buzz around Blair Witch Project being "authentic" back then and this would've caught on like wildfire in cinemas.
