I love the hammer idea, maybe another weapon module with a bulkier egg beater in the front could also be cool

OverDraft may just be the coolest bot you’ve ever built (and you’ve built a lot of cool bots). Can’t wait to see how it performs!

I love this drivetrain design, really amazing bot. Reminds me of silent x made by Jamison Goh. So it’s fitting that it has a hammer saw. I found the matches of the Minnesota event on a separate channel, it would be great content to hear you commentate the matches.

Hey there - I’m a rookie bot builder and will also be at the Minnesota massacre as my first event! I’m curious how you know who you will be matching up against already? I don’t see anything posted? Thanks!

MNM is a part of the MRCA and more information can be found at our discord discord.gg/2DBAMc3uFW. They posted the current bracket there.

Most Valuable Rookie - I have no background in robotics aside from the last month so I'm planning just show up and learn a lot (and hope my bot doesn't fall apart too fast!).

Cool bot. I fear the cyanoacrylate impregnated wooden lifter will get instantly wiped out by any decent spinner though.

Thanks, the lifter did get taken off by a horizontal in a rumble, but that was kind of expected

If you don't mind, it would be great to see what motors, and other things you used, and where you found them, I am trying to work on a basic wire set up right now for two motors and a spinner or something. I am not going to compete, so I hope I can use your AA battery setup you had in one video. Thanks

How did you make the camshaft? I'm assuming it can't be 3D printed and is made of metal.
@robotfightclub8349

In this version each cam is 3D printed and arrayed around a square metal shaft, but in the new version the whole thing is printed in one piece.

hi Lucas, i want to make you some question about the functionality and the dimensioning of motor that you use. Can i contact you on instagram or on e-mail or something like that?

Hello, the motors I'm using are 16mm 800rpm gearmotors. It's a very common size and they are available a bunch of different places online. I got mine off of ebay. If you search "16mm gearmotor dimensions" you should be able to find an image with all the dimensions. If you have more questions feel free to contact me by email, just go to the "about" section of my KZitem channel and my email address is listed. Thanks for watching!
