This is the best moment ever in a movie. Coming from the foster care system and a terminated adoption due to child abuse, this scene gave me hope at 17 years old when I first saw the movie. I didn't get this moment when I located my bio mom, but I'm getting it upon locating my bio father 2 weeks ago. Blessed.

I miss my Grandma so much. She had the final say on everything. We introduced her to whoever we were dating. She would go down the family tree to make sure we weren't related. I swear she knew everyone! Everything about this scene reminds me of family gatherings when my grandparents were living. What I wouldn't give to share this moment one more time.

This movie is so heartwrenching seeing what Antwone Fisher went through. I felt so bad for him. As scripture says "What was meant for evil has been turned around for good." The good that came out of this movie is that Antwone became a stronger and better man. What I love about this scene is that he FINALLY meets his real family and that he has a good woman by his side.

This is for every kid, who never had extended family, and had to settle for a so-called family. For as much as you loved them no matter how horrible they we're to you. They still treated you like trash. They said you were trash, and at some point, you might have believed it. Never loved you or thought of you.as family.
