Hi Sue. So happy to see a little video pop up from you 😊 I binge watched every one of your videos from the beginning last month and loved every one. I'm hoping to get a campervan very soon so I'm really looking forward to getting out and visiting some of the places you've been to. The Kelpies are one of the things I really, really want to see. My question is - do you journal your adventures so you can go back over them and enjoy them again? Are you a naturally tidy and organised person as I imagine you would have to be when you're living in a small space. Keep going - you're doing great and I'm so proud of how far you've come and what you've achieved. You've certainly brightened my life so thank you 😊 love Linda

Hello Sue. Hoping your house move is still on track and progressing well. 🤞 I’m very fragile since losing my Chris but I’m taking some time to try to relax by catching up with more of your previous videos with a morning cuppa. I was looking back again at when you did your early van tour; I notice that you have added a shelf which looks great (where did you get that and did you fit that yourself?). So that made me think of another couple of questions I would like to ask for your forthcoming Q&A session… I have a SWB VW T5 campervan and storage is often a problem in such small spaces… what other storage additions have you made since purchasing Vanya and how are they working out? What other storage modifications would you like to make? Thank you so much for your wonderful videos Sue… I love them… you truly are an inspiration. 🙏🏻 x

Hi Jan, house move on the go slow at the moment but still looking positive 🤞🏻. I can imagine how you must be feeling right now but also think ur doing as well as can be expected. Go easy on yourself. Sending a hug x Do you mean the little silver shelf at the side of the hobs? I included it in one of my ‘campervan essential equipment’ vids but can also send a link if that’s the one you mean? Thanks for the Q, I’ll add it to the list. Take care xx

Many thanks for your reply Sue. Yes, it’s the little shelf near the hobs, attached to the side of the wardrobe wall… to your right if you’re looking at the work surface. Yes please, a link would be greatly appreciated… I’m working through all of your past videos and I probably haven’t got to that one yet. A big thank you once again Sue. Jan xx

No problem, this is the link to it. I don't use the kitchen towel part myself though because I don't have the space for that, it's too close to my hob for paper to be hanging down as a fire risk, so I took that little bar out and pushed the sides of that part up and I just use it as a shelf. I'm happy with it - amzn.to/3mERpEC @@janl7552

I love watching the Q&A’s on the channels I watch but I never ask any questions, it feels too nosey 😮. Maybe this time I will make an exception. I know you mentioned you used to have a bigger motorhome in the past. Why did you decide to go for a small campervan for your solo travels, rather than a smaller motorhome? Is there anything you miss about having a motorhome and do you still feel the campervan was the right decision for you? I think that’s three questions, I hope that’s allowed 😊.

Hi Sue. Hope you’re coping with the house move. You’re going to get lots of questions. Here’s a few questions for ya. You don’t have to answer them all. 1. Would you ever do a cooking episode of different meals whilst in the van ? (Your meals, butties always look amazing) 2. Do you cook inside the van ? I only cook outside unless it’s boiling a kettle or soup etc to avoid a smelly van. 3. Do you ever watch tv, films, KZitem etc in the van & would you ever think about getting a projector? 4. Could you do a full van tour to show how you stack things in cupboards etc (I’ve just had some shelves fitted & a sponge plate & cup holder, amazing) 5. What’s your favourite van gadgets? 6. What type of mattress / bedding do you use ? ( I have a self inflating outdoor revolution, then a mattress topper, then a fitted sheet, then a quilt & pillows) 7. Do you use a heater (van diesel or plug in) of a night when it’s cold ? I only asked a lot as you said you might not get many questions. But you’ll get lots. Take care, Joey x

Yes, moving house is definitely stressful. Having moved numerous times over the years, moving does at least give you a chance to have a good clear out and to get rid of everything that you haven't used in the past 6 or 12 months and any stuff that is not likely to be needed in the new property. Question: now that you've had your camper for a while, is there anything in the current layout that you wish you'd have done differently?

Hi Sue, Can I thank you for inspiring me to get out there in my van conversion (I bought a van and had it converted after watching your videos). I've decided life is too short as I too have lost my partner albeit 15 years ago but only now feel the time is right for me to get out with my 3 dogs. If you know any good places to camp with dogs could you let me know. Hopefully onwards and upwards from here. Thank you again Sue. Shelley

Hi Shelley, I'm so glad I've helped inspire you to get out there in your own van. Great isn't it? I know it isn't easy however long it might have been since losing your partner and certainly it's never the same. Re your question, I don't camp with dogs although plenty of people obviously do. Can you narrow it down to what areas you're looking at or are you talking the whole of the uk? Thanks for watching and commenting x

You're probably best checking out this link then it covers the whole country and if you scroll down the page it separates the sites into each region to narrow your search down. No shortage of dog friendly sites by the look of it! Hope that helps and happy camping! 👍 www.campsites.co.uk/search/dog-friendly-campsites @@ShelleyWalters-ut3ze

Hi Sue This might be tricky since I’m going to ask an opinion of something you haven’t got! I’m thinking of replacing my double swivel seat with a single captains seat. Apart from the obvious of being able to walk through to the ‘living’ area are there any other advantages? Can you use the space for anything you can’t do elsewhere for example? Thank you !

Good to see you haven’t given up, the pressures of moving house are enormous 😳. Where’s on your list for a trip out when you get sorted? How do you manage the roof? I ask because mine is so heavy to push up and really putting me off going out. Have a little folding stroll I stand on and launch myself off when I’m pulling the roof down but pushing it up is hard. Question 3 - how long would you leave the van on your drive without using it? I have left mine 6 weeks as it has a decent solar panel but I’m scared it won’t be sufficient in winter. Question 4 - is that enough questions for you? 😂😂😂

Hi Sue, probably already been asked, but how do you manage to sleep comfortably in a ‘wild camping’ spot? I would love to free myself from campsites, but like you I’m on my own, and I can’t seem to get up the courage. Also, how do you decide where to go? Do you plan all trips, or set off and decide as you go? Good luck with the move, it took me two years just to get up the energy to even think about moving after Ian died, but it was necessary and I’m glad I did it. Take care, Jane

Hi Jane, I always remember you saying it was very positive when you moved and that always reassures me if I have any little wobbles (usually when I wake up suddenly in the early hours!). Thanks for your questions, I'll look forward to answering them. I hope all is well with you. Take care x

Hi Sue, please can I ask whether you feel revisiting places you went to as a couple is helpful or too much? I have lost 3 family members in the last year. I'm finding it hard to go to places that I associate with them and not be overwhelmed by sadness instead of remembering good times.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear of your many losses suffered close together and so recently. How hard that must be. I can relate well to your current experiences when revisiting places and will definitely answer your question in a forthcoming video because it’s an interesting post-loss subject that I’ve recently noticed has changed for me, positively. So don’t lose hope with that. Sending best wishes to you x
