She has citizenship in Argentina because her father *is* Argentinian, and just so happens to be of English descent. Her UK citizenship comes from her mother who is actually British. Anya is Latina because she grew up in Argentina and that is the culture that she identifies with.

@@lukas-lr6ztDo you believe that being a true Latino requires a partially indigenous appearance? 😅 If you've only met Latinos who are 'brown' or resemble indigenous people in the USA, it's because they're mestizos (a mix of European+Native American) or fully indigenous, but have adopted Latin culture. Mestizos & fully indigenous individuals make up the largest ethnic groups that come to the USA due to limited opportunities caused by the dominance of elite European Latinos in LatAm. Many white Latinos have no need to migrate except for vacations, yet they are 100% Latinos. Have u heard of the Cornish (UK) community in Mineral Del Monte, Hidalgo? I'm part of a neighboring ethnic group/pueblo indigeno called Hñähnu (not Latino fyi) & I’ve always seen the Cornish proudly identify as Mexicanos, Latinos, Hispanics, while also acknowledging their heritage. Ppl can be both European & Latino. In fact, I'd argue that the original Latinos were fully European since the concept of Latinos didn't exist before 1492 in the Americas.

Honestly, I don’t know what it means to “look like someone who can speak Spanish.” There are native Spanish speakers all the world from the lightest skin to the darkest skin and all features in between. However, I like that moments like these can serve as an educational moment! It’s the same for so many other languages! Another example is French. There are native French speakers in both African and European countries.

You know what makes it 20 times worst? That they don't know what they're talking about in the first place. We are talking about Argentina here. If you don't know what that means: it's "the whitest" country you'll find in South America, and arguably around the world in general. I'm almost 29 years old, and the only times I see black people is when I travel to other countries, like USA or Brazil, or because someone from another country came here, but never an Argentine black person. We have 85,0% of white population , 11,1% mixed (mixed isn't "black". It's that "latino" skin tone, which is more like a little tan), 2,6% Asians, 1,0% indigenous and 0,3% of black people. You know how low the odds of an Argentine person being black are? Yes, you do. I just told you. We got sh*t for that because people were complaining that there was no one black on our World Cup soccer team. It just goes to show you how ignorant people are. Anya looks exactly how the average Argentinean would look. Even with blue or green eyes, she would still look like someone from Argentina, just like HER FAMILY.
