Ingredients:
300 grams of water
3 grams of dry yeast
380 g bread flour
12 g salt, approx. 2 level tsp
Preparation:
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water.
Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl and add it to the yeast mixture. Stir quickly with a wooden spoon until there are no more lumps of flour and a dough ball forms in the bowl.
Cover and let it rise at room temperature for approximately 90 to 120 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 480 degrees Fahrenheit with a bowl of water placed on the bottom.
Prepare a baguette tray and cut three strips of parchment paper to fit the size of the tray, then place them inside to prevent the baguettes from sticking.
Once the dough has more than doubled in size, scrape it out of the bowl onto a baking mat using a dough scraper or silicone spatula. Do not knead!
Dust the surface with flour and use the dough scraper to divide the dough into three equal parts, placing each part into a groove of the baguette tray. The dough will be very sticky, and that's how it should be. 🙂 Still, do not knead!
Bake the baguettes for 25 minutes, then let them cool on a cooling rack or enjoy them while still slightly warm.
