Great game! Always happy to see my beloved frog! Dear Noah, I don’t think 3 different Win-the-game effects are necessary. If you slot in Phantasmal Image instead of Jace you will not only have higher card quality, but also the possibility to loop your deck gitrog-esk after milling your library and kill them with Finale etc. (in case they exiled your Oracle).

If everyone just focuses on the stax them the turbo player wins. You have to find a nice middle ground because a lot of the time taking out a stax piece at the wrong time will give another player the win.

I really want to like Grolnok because it's a UG selfmill commander. As a old Legacy/Standard Threshold player, this really tickles my fancy. However, it's a bit to combo-y for me. I really wish i could tweak it to be more midrangy and grindy with a strong and compact combo finish as back up.

A game where Charles is not allowed to just do what he wants is a game where he can't win. He's a master at mono-white but it's still only white. When the table actually interacts with him, he'll fall behind every single time. This game is also a good reason why more removal needs to be included in decks. Certain permanents just can't stick around for the whole game.

I have a question it is one of my most hated ways that people win why does anything remotely blue run a Thassa’s Oracle win con I started in the original Ravnica block Where nine times out of 10 if you didn’t have a library you lost it’s called deck out and it was very common until this whole thassa’s oracle win/Certain blue planes walker with the same win con

In my opinion that type of wind is the cheapest way a person can win in commander and I hate it not because I’ve been victim to it it just doesn’t seem a valid win to me
@anonymoususer5351
Жыл бұрын
Thassa's Oracle was definitely a huge design mistake, has made huge impacts on winning quickly in multiple formats like cedh and even legacy. The reason people play it is just because in cedh you're trying to win as efficiently as possible, and Thoracle is just the best way to do that right now.
@PhoenixRNH

Laboratory Maniac has been around far longer, and there are plenty of blue decks that don't play TO, for example Thrasios Bruse Dawnwaker. It's an extremely efficient wincon, just like Underworld Breach. Try not to complain about the game winning piece and just enjoy the game itself much like enjoying a good book with an ending you don't like

@@yugioh395 The idea of it in the first place. It's not something that should be regarded as important or pushed from any for of "authority." You do not push your pronouns because you are likely a normal human being. If not then my question to you is why should pronouns become a normal and decisive point in language? Inclusivity for a small percent of individuals? Maybe equity of representation in "marginalized" communities? These are privilege nonsensical ideas that make social constructs complex for the rest for the rest of the normal population. It doesn't need to be looked at as something that is serious or purposeful.
