This should be about 10-15% more powerful. That's typical for these APU jumps. A 20-25% jump would be very impressive, but not really worth it to me as I bought a 6800u device. A 50% jump would mean If I can hit 1080p 30 fps on a game with a 6800u I would be able to hit about 45 fps on that new device. Id gain 15fps. A ten to 15% jump is just 3-4.5 fps. A 50% jump could be the different between playing a game at 20fps and 30fps, but that kind of jump is unlikely and unusual. A ten percent increase in power would only bring it up by 2 fps to 22 fps. So a 50% increase honestly isn't that dramatic imo. After buying in at a 6800u this won't enable any games I can't play, it won't do anything mine can't, it will just play a very games I have to run with fsr at slightly higher resolutions, but honestly, I wouldn't even do that. I'd keep it as low as possible anyways. So....what would be the point? Maybe I can push the settings justa. tiny bit more....but it's the same game anyways....wtf do I care? I've got waaaaay too much stuff to spend money on to care that one handheld can do slightly better settings lol. I suggest buying one that tickles your fancy, and then deleting all of these channels from your KZitem for a minimum of 2 years. Otherwise they will have you thinking every one is a major improvement when they are not. Every 2 to 3 years would be pretty reasonable if you have the money to blow as an upgrade cycle. You'll be happier, trust me.

Recently, expensive handheld PCs tend to dominate the emulation console scene, but I personally find nothing inspiring or romantic about this. They look like gaming consoles, but in reality they are gaming PCs themselves. They run emulators perfectly. Isn't this too obvious? There is absolutely no difference from playing with a PS2 emulator on a Windows PC in front of you. What I think of as emulator consoles are a wide variety of cheap, out-of-model SOCs and single PCBs housed in an integrated case with a nostalgic shape. It is very cheap and childish, but that is why I find it romantic.

Its well proven that APUs are capable of excellent graphics. Where i wanna see some real innovation is sub 10W performance.

One thing i'd add are games that use pointers A LOT, this control scheme drives me nuts but some of these games are good, and hilights why trackpads are still important for handhelds. What would be nice for these handhelds is if you could switch the screen between touch, and trackpad mode, negating the need for a dedicated trackpad like the Steamdeck or GPD WINMAX

@@CPUjunkie And using it is going to sound great, just too bad you cant see the game when you have that track pad full screen
