I'm happy to be able to witness the wonderful and enthusiastic “Nebuta Festival.” I didn't expect it to be that great. 😃👍🏻 The overwhelming force of those who performed during the day is amazing. At night, it was illuminated by lights and it was beautiful 🤩 The fireworks were also very beautiful and moving. Thank you 😭😭😊👍🏻
Nebuta figures were lit by candles before. It's not only they were much dimmer, but also pretty dangerous.

私は年のせいか花火を見るとほろっときます。子供の頃の思い出と花火の切なさなんですかね。

Wow!!!! I’ve never seen anything like this either! Usually I am content watching, but I would love to be able to see this festival in person someday! Amazing! ❤

I hope you get a chance to see it! It's an incredible event!❤️
I think NBUTA is NO. 1 Japanese Histrionical and artistic Festival, Nebuta is the most beautiful moving art. They accompanied with nebula painting artists, construction artists, instruments musicians and dancers. You don’t see anything like this festival in any countries in the world. You see it only in Aomori, Japan.

Those are really large omikoshi for the festival planners to carry. Both lanterns and fireworks in the Aomori Nebuta Festival are spectacular. 🎆
Hello. I love your videos. I remember a few years ago when I visited Japan I did the Shikoku henro. It's 1,200 kilometers of trekking over the course of 1 month. It's one of the most difficult things I have ever done but it is also the most rewarding. I also got better at doing the mantra when I stopped by the temples. 😂 I hope you guys get to do it one day as well. I promise it is 100% worth it.

Thank you! 🥰 It sounds like an amazing physical feat! We might have to start doing some training 🤭
I believe you got the bell as payback for the luck you two used up getting those wonderful seats! It allowed us all to see *under* these floats, and appreciate all the action there. You described it perfectly, "...like a crazy dream...", and I agree. Another Aomazing video that leaves me much happier than before watching. Seeing the world through your eyes is a joy. Thank you.
The size of the floats is just incredible! You said they do the same parade at night with the floats all lit up? That would be something to see. Very cool.

Yes! Actually, the typical image of the festival is at night, but this way we got to see a little bit of both (and I reckon it was a lot less crowded during the day too)!
