Only 2.7 GHz? lol get on my level, 2.93 GHz Pentium M 760 or bust :^) That being said though, I have a significantly better board with dual channel support.

I guess you have voltage adjustment as well. I felt this CPU can do much more but I couldn't give it more juice. Even the temperatures were constant (with a very basic aluminum radiator) no matter the frequency. What board do you have?

@@TechLab47 ASUS P4P800SE with a CT-479. Still need to do the vDroop mod as this thing has fucking insane vDroop under load, 1.55V SET is ~1.5V GET

@@Wasmachineman That's very nice. As a joke I've seen worse voltage drops on my socket A motherboards due to failing capacitors :). You are privileged to have a CT-479, sometimes I contemplated using the Pentium M with the P4C800E deluxe but the price of a CT-479 is prohibitive and there are many other areas of interest besides the Pentium M. I definitely plan to come back to it one day to cover other chipsets (as I have the AOpen i915GMm-HFS) but for now I think that(besides the overclock) I covered a lot of questions about this board and CPU. I also need to get some more Pentium M cpus, as I don't have anything from M735 to M780 :)

@@Wasmachineman I just built a PC for to run some old games and I had a P4P800-SE and a CT-479 lying around. My wife wanted to play Carmen Sandiego. Of course I had to install a few games of my own and forgot how much of a beast this CPU is.
