I forgot to change my CrossFire power settings before the flight, instead of the usual 2000mW I did this entire flight at 10mW, that's why "Crossfire LQ" was weak throughout the whole video.

Its pretty sweet u done it by accident because now we know how much of a BOSS 10mw was haha. Great flight. Is this quadcopter close to the efficiency as your chimera 7 build . BOth are sweet.

Amazing distance and flight all together! I'm running diversity and the furthest I've went out is 2 miles. Your quad seems locked in, I feel like I need to give 6s2p a try along with the helical antennas now.

Those cells are only rated for 10, so with 2P that's 20A. You are pretty close to that most of the time during this flight, don't they get hot?

Does pack come down warm? not sure if those cells underated but packs is 20a continuous pack. I notice you keep your amps low though I wanted to do 50S/T50 but priced it $204 for 10 batteries so to make 6s2p or bigger a lot of money lol

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, at least in my specific case, I've had issues with vibrations on the Chimera for a long time. You can see in many of my videos that the FPV feed often has a lot of jello. The Falcon seems a lot better in this aspect, it has thicker arms and the rear ones have an additional brace which should further help with managing frame resonance. It's not perfect though, I find the top plate to be a bit too skinny to carry around big Li-Ion batteries and I'm not a huge fan of the front gopro/fpv camera mounting setup. Overall I'd go with the Falcon, but the Chimera seems to work well for a lot of people so don't judge it only by my experience

@@fabyt68 makes sense, agree with you that Falcon frame seems better in this aspect. FWIW, I have had two Chimera7 and only had minor vibration issues with one of them. Second one was nearly perfect out of the box.

Aos falcon 7 coming here too. Dji air unit is fitting well ? I’m in doubt on how to mount rear antennas, 2 DJI’s and one in vertical for tbs diversity RX . And I wanted to put GPS over the GoPro but I guess I’ll have to modify the front stl 😖

There is plenty of space at the back for an air unit. If you're interested I designed a part which holds 2 sma adapers for the video antennas, a bardpole crossfire antenna, and a bn220 gps module all in one piece, and also a holder for the air unit. Let me know if you want the stl files.

drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YBCVh1196QQieLEpzg_wtcgXx9_XJFZ5?usp=sharing The air unit holder stl is just one side, you need to make a mirrored one as well, printed with the outside face placed on the bed. The gps and antenna holder should be printed with the large flat side laying on the build plate, supports are needed for the gps cavity and the small overhang near the standoffs holes. Let me know if you have any issues.
